- 37 hours per week Norfolk based Role can be based at Neatishead, Brizlee Wood or Saxa Vord bases.Competitive salary plus benefits Serco have an exciting opportunity for a TPS 77 Systems manager to join our Radar team. This role will lead a team to Maintain the 3 TPS-77 Radars at Neatishead, Brizlee Wood and Saxa Vord sites ensuring that KPI targets, quality compliance, safety, continuous improvement and other contractual obligations are met at site. Furthermore, our Radar Systems Manager will manage the 3 radar sites security, building custodian, work services, cypto usage and maintain the operational capability of the site.
Main Accountabilities:
- To support the AD Radars Contract Director and Technical Lead in delivering the CLS
- To support LMOC and RAF to provide maximum radar availability.
- Primary and Secondary radar availability at the 3 TPS77 sites.
- Supporting the AD Radar Contracts Manager at QPM’s.
- To deliver the 3 TPS-77 Radar site security.
- Maintain the 3 TPS-77 radar sites infrastructure.
- Ensure operational efficiency.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Hold a recognised Electronics and electrical Qualification.
- Required OEM technical training.
- At least 15 years TPS-77 radar experience.
- Fully conversant with Serco governance policies and procedures.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with RAF personnel on the radar sites.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Proven track record in maintaining the TPS-77 radar.
- Understanding of RAF processes.
- Proven track record of successful maintaining radar systems.
- Proven practical and pragmatic understanding of service delivery.
- Working within a team, communicating within the team and with customers
- Able to achieve SC/DV Security clearance.
