The incumbent will perform the following duties:

1. Serves as a resident expert and project manager of healthcare technology for PHXVAHCS.
2. Manages implementation and recurring technical support of healthcare technologies and actively collaborates with OI&T and clinical service lines to optimize effectiveness of the systems.
3. Responsible for balancing multiple projects simultaneously and working with a broad range of clinical, technical, and administrative stakeholders, therefore strong project management, change management, relationship- building, and communication skills are critical to program success.
4. Analyzes maintenance and support strategies including review of out-sourcing versus in-house support for different aspects of the system. He/She analyzes and recommends optimal maintenance strategies clinical technology systems.
5. Consults on construction projects, Information Technology projects, space functional changes, and associated planning with respect to medical technologies and their related clinical areas (OR, ICU, PACU, etc).
6. Ensures entry into the personal computer/computer systems under his/her access and verify code is limited to his/her use only.
7. Actively promotes the viability of PHXVAHCS by supporting strategic planning, working with executive administrative staff, and Engineering management to plan, implement, and design solutions to needs.

• The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Duties are performed at Plant Inspection Stations, International Ports of Entry, and other geographical areas within the United States.
• Provide specialized inspection, regulation and clearance of propagative plant material, plant products and pest diagnostic identification services at plant inspection stations and other facilities.
• Interpret and enforce Federal and State domestic quarantines and regulatory orders restricting the inter/intra-state movement of plants, plant products, animal byproduct and other materials.
• Plan, conduct, and/or supervise various treatments such as disinfection, sterilization, fumigation, cold treatment, hot water treatment, irradiation for plant and animal pests and diseases.
• Manage multiple program areas such as: post entry quarantine, biological control, gypsy moth, grasshopper/cricket, noxious weeds, boll weevil, or other pests.
• Review permits, conduct inspections, prepare and execute compliance agreements, enforce policies regarding quarantine, and identify inspection sites.
• Serve as accredited certifying officials regarding export certification for trade facilitation.
• Track the progress and submit reports regarding program operations in specific geographical area assigned.

• The duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Performs basic preventive maintenance of existing air conditioning equipment and refrigeration units with a scheduled maintenance check list.
• Performs basic electrical repairs and maintenance, to include changing defective switches, receptacles, electric motors, fixtures, and small appliances.
• Performs a variety of routine plumbing tasks.
• Performs general maintenance tasks on steam equipment such as checking pressure gauges and regulators; and reports any defects.
• Performs standard sheet metal work from a pattern provided, including cutting, bending, rolling, and joining with materials such as galvanized steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Performs routine ground maintenance such as spraying, watering, raking, and general upkeep of facility grounds.
• Operates forklift after receiving training and certifications from local or state agencies to do so when required.

• Reviews and evaluates the borrower’s ability (or lack thereof) to reinstate a delinquent loan as well as the borrower’s potential to repay the loan.
• Conducts audits of loan servicers’ adherence to VA regulations and guidelines as they relate to the following work processes: Servicer completed workout and loss mitigation options and Servicer completed loan modifications
• Reviews servicer completed “Net Value” determinations to ensure compliance with VA established calculation requirements and credit to Veterans’ accounts.
• Reviews claims under guaranty (initial, appealed, and supplemental) and the transfer of custody and recommends approval of payments.
• Analyzes post audits to determine if payments were appropriate. In the event a holder fails to comply with the regulations governing liquidation of a guaranteed loan through negligence or mistake.
• Follows-up on title documents concerning loans being acquired by VA under 38 CFR 36.4318. Reviews title documents for accuracy and completeness and forwards completed package with recommendation to VA’s legal counsel final approval.
• Instruct services/holders on VA requirements for servicing delinquent VA accounts and procedures to be followed in establishing repayment and forbearance plans.
• Advises on VA requirements for initiating foreclosures, termination by voluntary deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, processing compromise “short” sales, completing modification agreements, VA Purchases under 38 CFR 36.4318, and the filing of claims.
• Communicates clearly and competently with Veterans, real estate attorneys, mortgage banking industry professionals, and services/holders in discussing VA regulations and procedures and their effects on home retention options.
• If conducted at less than the full performance level, duties will be developmental in nature.

A full UK driving license and recognised qualifications are essential.
