The Role

As our Facilities Assistant, you'll be the go-to person making sure our three offices are always in top shape and ready for action!

Working closely with our Facilities Manager, you’ll be helping out with everything from restocking stationery supplies and collecting the post to managing the office environment by turning off alarms and getting all areas set up for the day ahead.

You’ll also play an important part in keeping everyone safe and happy, supporting health and safety measures and being on hand to assist with anything that crops up.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage any on-site issues or incidents, keeping our offices a safe and welcoming place for everyone

Under the guidance of experienced designers, Junior Interior Designers will have the opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to exciting projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior designers in all stages of the design process, from conceptualization to implementation.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to gain insight into project requirements and preferences.
• Prepare design sketches, mood boards, and presentations to communicate ideas effectively.
• Assist in space planning, furniture selection, material sourcing, and color coordination.
• Support project coordination efforts by liaising with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute creative input and innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform design decisions.

Requirements:

• Passion for design and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in in basic computing
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
