A commercial law firm based in Birmingham City Centre is seeking a Legal Secretary, paying up to £27,000 plus benefits, to support their growing Real Estate and Projects Team.

Based in the Birmingham office, you will be joining one of the companies fasted growing teams, helping to support their fee earners and solicitors with all of their administrative needs. This is a really great role in a company that provides extensive opportunity for growth, development and further training.

Duties will include the following:

• Audio and copy typing as well as document processing
• Formatting documents and any other relevant documentation as needed
• Opening files and cases
• Organising and maintaining accurate files both in hard copy and electronically
• Producing invoices and dealing with any queries
• Produce frequent summaries of account ledgers
• Diary management for the fee earners
• Prepare travel itineraries, book transport and accommodation as required
• Receiving phone calls from clients; taking messages where needed
• General administrative support for the department
• Provide cover and support to the other secretaries within the team as and when

The ideal candidate will come from a legal background, but all areas of professional services will be considered. You will have an eye for detail as well as being process driven, enjoying working in a strictly administrative capacity. Adaptable and confident, you will be working as part of a wider team, but there will also be a lot of autonomous working in this role. Excellent communications skills, you will be the go to person for the team. The team are looking for someone with great typing and dictations skills, due to the nature of the projects.

Medical Secretary - GP Practice

Brand new opportunity for a Medical Secretary to join a GP Practice, Based in Leeds

The role sits within the GP Practice Team with the role predominately providing a first-class secretarial service to the practice and patients and ensure efficient processing of referral letters, minutes, practice letters, and reports. You will prepare and produce documents, hospital referrals, and other relevant paperwork and effectively operate the Choose & Book system. As part of this role you will maintain an effective system for recording hospital and private referrals and respond to or redirect patient inquiries and requests accordingly. You will also maintain an audit trail for referrals and ensure the referral process is completed by clinicians and undertake information retrieval for the practice and patients as requested. Processing minutes meetings as requested & processing responses to complaints will also be required

A leading Professional Services firm based in London is currently recruiting for an experienced Legal PA with experience of working in the Healthcare/Medical/NHS field.

You will be working as a team to act as a point of contact for fee earners and the completion of their work, the role with undertake all aspects of the Legal Support Assistant role, and where appropriate, manage the workflow by utilising Administrative Assistants and Document Production, retaining ownership and accountability of all tasks through to completion. Provide a high quality, comprehensive workflow management and organisational service to fee earners in the group and exceptional client service.

Key Duties:

• Diary management
• Preparation of external client meeting packs
• Preparation and maintenance of client operational manuals
• Attendance at internal operational meetings; preparing agendas, minuting, and following up actions
• Co-ordinating monthly and quarterly client specific publications
• Undertaking annual governance documentation reviews

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, gained in a Legal or Healthcare/Medical/NHS environment
• Sound inter-personnel skills as you would be required to liaise with colleagues at every level
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively within a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
