JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of the role is to: Offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, whether in person or via the telephone. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice. Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies. We are looking for a receptionist to be responsible for being the face of the office - greeting clients and visitors and general admin duty. You will be in charge of contacting employees regarding visitors, answering phones and taking messages, and sorting and distributing mail.

The candidate will need the following: flexibility is essential, as well as a willingness to assist with tasks, help solve unforeseen problems, answer queries etc. Good communication is an essential attribute as we will supporting an office of various nationalities.

General Duties:

Reception:

• Meet and greet visitors and notify appropriate staff of their arrival
