Responsibilities:

• Administer and configure infrastructure systems and applications (e.g. Active Directory Services, Data Centre, video conferencing, audio system, telephony, server storage, backup, etc.), network devices (Firewall, routers, VPN, internet proxy, wireless, etc.), desktop, mobile devices and other remote devices.
• Provide technical support to both Local and Overseas branches’ users over the LAN and WAN without compromising security.
• Provide L1/L2 support and participate as a team lead or member in projects.
• Ensure systems are backed up automatically, recovery plans and disaster recovery plans and patches are carried out successfully and monitor the systems’ resources usage closely.
• Draft and update technical documentation such as administration & user guides.
• Source for products/solutions and vendors/suppliers for required projects.
• Liaise with external vendors to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• CCNA certification is advantageous
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in infrastructure system maintenance and optimization
• Expertise in enterprise networking, including implementation and support of WAN, LAN, and VPN optimization
• Proficient in managing Microsoft Server 2012 and newer versions, Microsoft 365, and Google Suite products/services
• Knowledgeable in internet architecture, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy, and Firewall configurations
• Familiar with devices such as Alcatel PABX, FortiGate, Cisco, and Unifi Wireless AP Controllers
• Strong understanding of CyberRisk and CyberSecurity; experience with PDPA is highly desirable
• Experience with Veeam, VMware, and UNIX/Linux is advantageous
• Additional skills in API/web programming and database administration are a plus

Main role and responsibilities
• Take ownership of multiple application products and its operational aspects of patching, application support etc. Eg, Websphere/IBM MQ/QlikSense/Sharepoint/Pega etc
• Take part in application architecture sessions with build teams to provide inputs on integration points like Web services, interfaces for MQ and SFTP
• Familiar with setting and defining operational processes.
• OS level patching
• Application-level patching
• Operational housekeeping and archival.
• Backup and recovery etc
• Familiar with Government level security concepts in hardening, scanning, security posture and mindset
• Troubleshooting Application and/or Infrastructure related problems
• Operational mindset to provide onsite support upon notice when issue occurs, including after office hours
• Monitoring and maintaining of IT system and application assets for the project
