• Coordinate activities involved in setting up for parties/catered events.
• Responsibilities include making table reservations for patrons as appropriate.
• Incumbent responsibilities include preparation of menu boards, secure supplies, etc. for operation of facility.
• Ensures adequate change fund is on hand; takes food and drink orders from patrons.
• Assist in maintaining good order and discipline.
• Answer patron's questions in pleasant, courteous manner.
• Ensure proper preparation, display and price marking of items and adherence to correct receipt and pricing procedures.
• Maintain sales records and inventory on daily basis.
• Follow procedures for safeguarding cash.
• Ensure compliance with fire, safety, sanitation and security regulations.
• Incumbent will perform some housekeeping duties, including washing dishes, sweeping floors, wiping down tables and taking out trash.
• Rings sales and/or ticket sales by individual items, totals the sales, receives money, and makes change.
• Incumbent is responsible for turning in receipts at the end of each shift.
• Monitors operation of assigned area of responsibility, periodically checking to identify and resolve problems which may arise.
• Enforce rules, handle phone inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to the needs of the customers including taking orders and packing bakery products
• Operate the cash register and provide receipts and change to customers
• Monitor the bakery inventory and add items to the display case as needed
• Balance register at the end of shifts
• Assist customers by providing information and answering questions
• Clean and maintain bakery areas such as displays and cash counters.
