Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 - 17:30 (some flexibility required

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Purpose: To support the development teams with product development activities and fostering positive relationships with customers
and internal stakeholders.

Your Duties Will Include:

* Support the creation and refinement of recipes in line with customer requirements and expectations
* Active involvement in the kitchen with the creation of samples and food for key meetings
* Organise and set up customer and internal presentations and events
* Co-ordinate sample requests – obtaining samples and booking couriers ensuring timely delivery
* Support product developers with completion of relevant NPD documents
* Support maintenance of Recipe Processor software for the site and NPD actions
* Assist with the sourcing and viability of new raw materials in line with department and customer requirements
* Follow the critical path timelines and support mitigation activities
* Assist with customer specification information collection and approval of artwork
* Complete benchmarking documents, store visits and support panels
* Support the site process team on trials, data collection and factory paperwork when required




Experience and Skills:

* Keen interest in food looking to start or continue career in food manufacturing
* Knowledge of product launch process (desirable)
* Food based / culinary qualification (desirable)
* Confident in the kitchen with positive, can-do attitude
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Good planning, organisation and project management skills
* Good analytical and numeracy skills

Your Duties Will Include:

* HR Shared Service delivery through the creation and distribution of all paperwork throughout the employee lifecycle
* Liaise with Line Managers on hire progress.
* Maintaining and updating all HRIS and employee e-files.
* Requesting equipment for new starters liaising with key departments to coordinate inductions.
* Coordinate probation reviews
* Tracking employee processes and passing to payroll for processing (i.e. refer a friend, maternity, etc).
* Update monthly payroll file for sign off by HR Shared Services Manager
* Supporting and where necessary carry out exit interviews and provide analytics.
* Maintain and update organisational charts.
* Create and distribute ad-hoc surveys and collate end data.
* Data gathering and report completion for weekly/monthly/annual reporting.
* Support with systems integrations, new releases, HR systems training.




Experience and Skills:

* HR administrative experience (Shared Service environment advantageous)
* Experience of handling sensitive and confidential information within HR legislative requirements (preferable)
* FMCG experience (Preferable)
* Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to build strong relationships, work collaboratively and a strong eye for detail.
* Organisation skills working to tight timescales whilst maintaining quality and accuracy

Who we are looking for - Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

You will have In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and the UK food industry, covering Retail buying, B2B and Manufacturing
sectors.

* Significant experience in conti-meats/anti-pasti and protein procurement, as well as other key commodities.
* Experience working in a Retail buying position would be very advantageous (pack pricing, cost modelling, supply chain
management)
* Experience working across the UK, Ireland, and Continental Europe, with a strong understanding of regional markets and
suppliers.
* Proven ability to analyse large datasets, interpret trends, and develop effective procurement strategies.

Senior Commercial Manager - Chilled Food/Top 4 Retailers

Are you a passionate, results-driven Commercial Manager with a strong track record in the chilled food sector? Do you have

* Strong numerical skills and the ability to interpret market data and trends to inform commercial decisions.

Senior Commercial Manager, working in partnership with one of the most prestigious leading UK retailers to cover multiple buying
areas and sub-categories.

We're looking for an experienced, capable candidate with considerable commercial retailer experience who can build long term,
partner-relationships at the highest levels and has the gravitas to represent our business in a professional manner in what is one
of the group’s key trading relationships.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Customer Director and the cross functional business unit to deliver sales
revenue and margin growth for our customer as well as for our group.

We are a multi-site business with manufacturing centres of excellence across the UK as well as working with a large network of
supply partners throughout Europe.

The successful candidate will be required to travel to Customer meetings frequently (mostly London), we are flexible on base
location however, the role will involve working from our offices in Redhill, Surrey with the flexibility of home working 2-3 days
per week.

Responsibilities of the role:



* Driving, delivering and implementing the business plans, ensuring all parts of the business are engaged and focused on results.

* Liaising with all relevant functions internally and in front of the customer as the ambassador of the company.

* Will be strong numerically and be able to interpret data and utilise market information
* Must be a self-starter and will be able to see opportunities and go after them, a track record of forming strong customer
relationships
* Strong analytical abilities are key for this role. The successful candidate must be confident in reviewing sales data, able to
identify performance drivers and confident in proposing action plans, in response to findings.
* A passion for food, the industry and proven detailed knowledge of previous category and product ranges.
* Financially literate and possess advanced computer skills to include MS Office
