Claims Service

• Work within local and regional on operating processes and claim handling procedures to ensure that quality claim service is rendered to all customers in accordance with Claims Philosophy.

• Ensure that loss reserves are set and maintained in accordance with guidelines, timely updates of claims data made into systems and correctness of systems and file records,
• Comply with quality review program guidelines and ensure corrective action is complemented as necessary.
• Complete Reserve Reconciliation and Advocacy reviews in accordance with guidelines.
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail, able to monitor work flow, quality and adjust procedures as necessary.

Others

• Maximize recoveries from insurers, salvage dispositions, subrogation or other recovery proceedings through close monitoring.
• Ensure timely advices, relevant supporting documents and responses to enquiries are provided to coinsurers / reinsurers to settle their share promptly.
• As required, assist in claims related projects including UAT etc, and other projects/assignments or tasks, as assigned.
• To meet or exceed the expectations/objectives set on the individual’s and the Team’s yearly goal setting.

Requirements

• GCE “O” Level and Diploma / Professional certificates in the relevant discipline
• Preferably with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Home insurance claims
• Knowledge in Home Insurance and A&H claims handling.

Responsibilities

· Optimizing network hardware and software to enable VMware integration.

· Developing and deploying customized VMware solutions.

· Defining multiple virtual servers on a single host machine.

· Virtualizing Windows servers and connecting them to networks and clouds.

· Participate in Configuring and managing windows server.

· Work with the infrastructure team in Maintaining VMware Servers.

· Monitoring virtual servers and performing regular check on servers by accessing web console.

· Working in ticketing tools like BMC Remedy and custom developed server Monitoring tool.

· Providing Offshore support for 24/7 Remote Support.

Skills/Requirement

· Hands-on experience on VMWare Suite, design & implementations,

· Experience in configuration, and administration of components in a large VMware environment.

· Excellent knowledge about VMware management tools (vCenter, vRealize Operations, VMware Configuration Manager)

· Working experience building scalable, highly available, mission critical virtual infrastructures

· Experience or working knowledge of Disaster Recovery technologies helpful.

· Experience or working knowledge of Backup technologies helpful multi-site environment experience.

• Support investment officers in portfolio management matters in a timely manner, including review of portfolio companies’ corporate actions and providing recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of period-end FA reports (e.g. Fixed Asset Stock-take report, Development Project-in-Progress (DPIP) report, and the Consolidated Fixed Asset Schedule) for management and statutory reporting and audit reviews. This includes reviewing of the asset count, performing FA reconciliation and investigating discrepancies (i.e. add, retire or rectify erroneous transactions reported by users via service requests or identified when reviewing expenditure)
• Review development expenditure to assess correct treatment of expenditures for asset capitalisation, before capitalising the assets.
• Maintain standards of excellence for FA processes by facilitating the learning of HTDs through conducting trainings, providing guidance on FA matters (i.e. ensure FA related SOPs are adhered to) and implementing process changes to strengthen governance and control.
• Participate in automation initiatives and process improvement projects (e.g. use of tools such as RPA bots or data analytics dashboards) to enhance work efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting
• Prior experience in Audit will be an advantage
• Prior experience in using SAP will be an advantage
