Main responsibilities:
Our Sales & Marketing Senior Executive will be responsible for developing our business by consolidating our existing overseas accounts and exploring new markets with third-party leaders in wholesale and retail. This role will involve overseeing the implementation of new product projects from development through manufacturing, ensuring compliance with stakeholders' requirements. Reporting directly to the Company Director, the Senior Executive will define the company's commercial strategy.
Scope of responsibilities:
- Account Management and Business Development: Manage and develop existing accounts while seeking new business opportunities.
- Margin Accountability: Manage and track margins per item/customer and use ERP systems for quotations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with customers. Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with stakeholders.
- Sales Support: Assist in business prospecting efforts and support the Group sales team.
- Market Analysis: Identify new trends and analyze competitor responses in the market.
- Marketing and Communication: Develop marketing and communication tools to promote Joubert products internationally (e.g., price catalogues, trade shows).
- Product Development: Create new product ranges and packaging for export markets.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from development through to manufacturing.
- Planning Communication: Communicate project planning and updates to interested parties.
- Technical Knowledge: Acquire and apply technical knowledge on product specifications and measurements to improve reliability and information for stakeholders.
- Department Liaison: Coordinate with departments such as Quality, Production, Process, Purchasing, and HQ on Marketing and Design to meet internal requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Adopt a Kaizen approach for product range improvement.
- 5S Implementation: Implement and maintain 5S principles in the workplace.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other duties as required in the future
Authority:
- Strategic Planning: Develop strategies and techniques to achieve sales targets.
- Quotation and Pricing: Provide quotations and pricing for products, subject to approval from the Company Director.
- Customer Inquiry Management: Attend to customer inquiries and provide accurate data and responses.
Qualification:
- Diploma or degree in Marketing field or similar.
- Experienced in overseas market exposure and online distribution business, automotive OEM knowledge a plus.
- Good computer skills i.e. Ms Office (Excel, Words, PPT etc.) and database knowledge.
- Good command of English.
