Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Revenues and Benefits Control team to ensure efficient service delivery.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for revenue collection and benefit administration.
Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and policy guidelines relating to revenues and benefits.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on financial performance and operational efficiencies.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize service delivery and streamline processes.
Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in revenues and benefits control.
Requirements
Proven experience in a managerial role within revenues and benefits or a related financial field.
Strong understanding of financial legislation, compliance, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Demonstrated analytical skills with experience in financial reporting and performance analysis.
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including senior management and the public.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in financial management or public administration.
