Duties
1. This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19.
2. Performs hazard and risk assessment techniques in completing initial incident analysis. Surveys the incident to identify materials involved, determines whether hazardous materials have been released, evaluates surrounding conditions; and predicting the likely behavior of a material and/or container.
3.Performs crash-rescue and firefighting duties involving air traffic or support operations where hazardous conditions are such that the expectancy for fire is high and potential for becoming destructive is great.
4.Performs structural firefighting duties for a variety of facilities, which may include large multistoried buildings, industrial areas, and/or base storage facilities. Performs rescue of personnel and a variety of first aid measures to alleviate further injury and prepare the victim(s) for transport to a medical facility.
5.Maintains firefighting equipment and fire station facilities. Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures and performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.

• Develops, coordinates, obtains approval, and publishes plans and procedures for implementation of installation policies and instructions relating to EM.

1. This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19. Leads a crew of three or more firefighters, including at least one firefighter (GS-07 or military equivalent) assigned to man a major piece of motorized firefighting equipment such as a pumper, aerial ladder truck, or Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicle in firefighting and rescue operations.

2. Directs firefighting crew in the operation of firefighting vehicles and equipment.

• Plans, Reviews, and manages total support requirements for new courses, course revisions, and future training projects, overseeing and coordinating planning, scoping, development, design, tracking construction timelines and direction of various projects for assigned units (e.g., personnel, equipment, facilities, budget, and other resource requirements) for a specialty area which includes several courses.
• Prepares, documents, and reviews the technical and economic data to support the acquisition of instructional systems, devices, facilities, and services.
• Participates in; system acquisition of all trainers, simulators, training aids, and collection of technical data to identify and develop alternatives to resources/requirements problems.
• As an appointed Contract Officer's Representative (COR), evaluates the planning, scheduling, controlling and executing actions performed by the contractor. Analyzes contractor compliance with regulatory and contract requirements.

• Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the 737th Training Support Squadron. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and flight/section objectives.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
• Represents 737th Training Support Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with other base organizations, senior leadership, representatives from other military services, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, and other related civilian organizations regarding services provided.

Plans, coordinates, and manages all administrative, operational, and fiscal aspects of Fitness Center facility as assigned by the Fitness and Sports director. Performs all personnel management functions for assigned facility. Assists with the management of all aspects of the base adult fitness program to include all core fitness activities, enhanced programs and instructor contracts. Establishes an annual fitness plan for all training, fitness classes, incentive programs, and special events. Oversees all fitness contracts and ensures payments are made in accordance with the contract and Air Force guidance. Manages all core activity offerings and schedules and periodically reviews programs to ensure activities are meeting AFI requirements and customer needs. Assures fitness equipment areas have supervision/monitoring during peak usage hours. Assists with planning and scheduling of intramural sports and championships as needed. Determines training needs, approves leave requests, reviews personnel actions, maintains and documents 971 file. • Plans organizes and directs the activities for the training wing safety office ensuring that the safety program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs

- Performs GMV Training and Certification within the Training, Validation Office (TVO) and leads other military and civilians performing training. Trains newly assigned military vehicle operators on a wide range of vehicles to include buses, tractor trailer, forklifts, wrecker/recovery vehicles, passenger vans/buses ranging from 12 passengers to 55 passengers.

- Administers Installation GMV Licensing Function and Installation Vehicle Misuse Program. Performs Operator Records and Licensing functions within the TVO office issuing and updating GMV licenses for personnel across JBSA.

- Drives buses, tractor trailers and/or other vehicles typically having a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds to include wrecker/recovery vehicles, and one or more electric, LPG, or diesel-powered forklift trucks to facilitate loading and unloading duties. May be required to transport bulky and unwieldy items.
