SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Barnes Center of Enlisted Education curriculum specialist and advisor for all facets of education across all levels of Enlisted Professional Military Education (EPME). The position oversees the training of EPME faculty and the development of education standards for and on behalf of Air Force's EPME programs and programmatic functions.

DUTIES:

• Performs as the lead instructional designer for EPME curricula.
• Develops, reviews, and revises core curriculum and makes recommendations of learning objectives, course content, methodology, textbook design, evaluation instruments, editing and production and other related aspects of curriculum development.
• Manages a comprehensive program EPME educational analysis.
• Serves as a distance learning Instructional Systems Specialist, optimizing the use of instructional technology, course design, and delivery methods.
• Communicates EPME expertise to internal and external agencies on issues relative to the design and delivery of EPME.

Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to Squadron Officer School (SOS) while managing, maintaining and executing delivery of SOSs curriculum, overseeing instructor preparation and delivery, conducting relevant research, and teaching in Air University educational programs.

Duties:

• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Squadron Officer School Academic Affairs (SOS/DE), ensuring that officer professional military education (PME) and faculty development comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• When the Squadron Officer School (SOS) Dean is unavailable, represents SOS with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• The Assistant Dean helps to coordinate development, administration, guidance, implementation, and oversight of new and existing academic programs and academic affairs for SOS: Leads, organizes and oversees SOS's Department of Academic Affairs by ensuring personnel are properly trained and developed, while managing curriculum processes to ensure timely delivery of accurate information to achieve SOS program outcomes.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Dean of Academic Affairs for the Ira C. Eaker Center for Professional Development (Eaker Center), under the direct supervision of the Eaker Center Commander. As the key senior civilian leader on education and curriculum matters overall, for Eaker Center. This position provides historical continuity and expertise for long- and short-term curriculum development for officer, enlisted, and civilian professional continuing education (PCE) programs for the entire Air Force, to include oversight of any degree-granting activities. This position is responsible to Eaker Center, Air University (AU) and Air Force senior leadership for determining if the Eaker Center programs are meeting course mission and goals as directed by appropriate USAF authority. This position also serves as the educational expert on behalf of the Eaker Center and a resource to other professional military organizations within AU as well as other AF and DoD and civilian organizations on educational policy, methodology, evaluation, and related matters.

DUTIES:

1. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of The Judge Advocate General's School, Mission Support Division, ensuring that the administrative and logistical support of the school complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
2. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
3. Represents AFJAGS with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.

This position directly supports and administers the updates to more than 3 million student records for resident, non-resident (Distance Learning) courses completion and transfer credit from other accredited colleges and universities located around the world in support of an active student body more than 305,000 students who are enrolled in 68 associate in applied science degree programs and 108 CCAF affiliated schools located world-wide to include Joint Training operations and over 6,000 faculty members. The Director of Enrollment Management provides oversight and management in the ordering and printing of more than 124,000 transcripts, over 20,000 diplomas annually and manually processes more than 205,000 incoming transcripts from other institutions for electronic imaging. This position determines and manages the processing of over 90,000 student action requests annually.

DUTIES:

• Plains, organizes and directs the activities of the CCAF Enrollment Management Directorate ensuring the Directorate complies with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements and meets customer needs.

• Serves as Chief, Operations Division, Mission Support Directorate. Independently, plans, organizes, and directs all activities of the Operations Division, ensuring that all manpower and personnel programs, technical training operations, academic instructor education, and professional continuing education evaluation functions comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet the educational goals of HQ USAF Functional Managers, AFPC. As directed, secures linen, glassware and silverware, depending on the particular format (menu, food and beverages). Readies groups of tables for food and beverages, making sure that dishes, glasses and silverware meet cleanliness standards, and that linens are spotless and condiment containers are filled. Following specific instructions and rigid time schedules, secures food from kitchen, and carries beverages from bar and serves customers. Refills food and beverage containers and performs emergency cleanup services. Answers simple questions concerning menu items and food served.

Cleans and prepares tables for further use. Performs other related cleaning duties as time permits including the preparation area, kitchen and dining room. May perform incidental dishwashing and other tasks.
