Overview: Our client, a leading AI-powered deal assistant in the private market space, is seeking a dynamic and experienced M&A and Fundraising Director to drive strategic initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and fundraising activities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in executing Client's growth strategy, leveraging their expertise in M&A transactions, fundraising, and investor relations to unlock value and propel the company's expansion.
Responsibilities:
- M&A Strategy and Execution:Develop and implement comprehensive M&A strategies aligned with Client's growth objectives and market positioning.
Lead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including target identification, due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation, and integration planning.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless execution and maximize value creation from M&A activities.
- Fundraising and Investor Relations: Drive fundraising initiatives to secure capital for Client's growth initiatives, including equity financing, debt financing, and strategic partnerships.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with institutional investors, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and other relevant stakeholders to attract investment and strategic partnerships.
Develop compelling investor presentations, financial models, and pitch materials to communicate Client's value proposition and growth potential effectively.
- Strategic Planning and Analysis:Conduct market research, industry analysis, and financial modeling to identify potential M&A targets, fundraising opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities in the private market space.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of M&A and fundraising initiatives, tracking key metrics and milestones to assess effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions and fundraising initiatives in the financial services or technology sector.
- Strong financial acumen with proficiency in financial analysis, valuation techniques, and deal structuring.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to think analytically, solve problems creatively, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong leadership qualities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
