We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team and play a crucial role in sourcing healthcare professionals for our clients across the country.
Job Summary
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be an essential part of our recruitment team, responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process. You will work closely with the Recruitment Manager and other team members to identify, attract, and onboard talented healthcare workers who are passionate about making a difference. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in recruitment within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing: Assist in identifying potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and internal databases.
Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings of candidates, and arrange interviews with hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide regular updates on progress.
Job Advertisements: Draft and post job advertisements on relevant platforms, ensuring that they attract high-quality candidates.
Database Management: Maintain and update the recruitment database, ensuring all candidate information is accurate and up to date.
Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with legal and company policies, including equal opportunity and data protection regulations.
Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting reference checks and coordinating pre-employment checks.
Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team, including scheduling interviews, preparing recruitment reports, and maintaining records.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Any, above GCSE preferred.
Experience: No prior experience required, though exposure to recruitment or the healthcare industry is a plus.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
High level of integrity and confidentiality
