Senior Property Valuer - Government
What can you expect?
Marsh Valuation Services are specialists in valuations of property, infrastructure, plant and equipment assets throughout the Pacific Region. We have a strong focus on financial reporting and insurance valuations with no reliance on bank panels or mortgage valuations.
Due to continued growth, both nationally and in Victoria, we are seeking an experienced Property Valuer to join our team in Melbourne. This is a unique role for our team which will see you be responsible for a large project across the State in the Government space.
Supported by a multi-year valuation project that can be expanded on, this role would suit an organised, driven and growth focused individual looking to expand their valuation capabilities and the type of valuations undertaken. You will be an important member of the valuations team while undertaking valuations across Victoria and Tasmania for a range of purposes.

We will count on you to:
Apply your advanced knowledge to undertake valuations of varying types of properties for differing purposes
Work across multiple projects to meet deadlines while managing your time effectively
Have the ability to travel intrastate and nationally for key client commitments
Demonstrate key client relationship management
Provide expert advice to clients in developing and adjusting project approaches, methodology, and tools to guide valuation programs and initiatives
Show excellent time management, logistic and organisational skills
Develop and execute strategies to expand successful business/working relationships with clients to grow the portfolio
Work as part of a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment
We would like you to have:
AAPI with CPV qualification
5+ years’ experience in performing property valuations
Previous experience with Government clients highly desirable
Experience with insurance and/or financial reporting valuations looked upon favourably
Growth focused outlook
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Logical and analytical mindset
Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
Availability to travel both nationally and internationally
