The Role
Production Manager (Manufacturing)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Hours: Full Time Position (Sydney Location)
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
Job summary: Manage and coordinate manufacturing workflows for Acoustic Blinds and Curtains.
The role includes:
• Work with Directors to develop manufacturing strategy and financial forecasts for the manufacturing team
• Manage production workflow and scheduling of curtain production
• Maintaining of production quality standards with manufacturing team
• Managing production budgets to drive gross margin and achieve production efficiencies
• Manage third party supplier relationships relating to curtain production
• Forecasting and scheduling of sewing resources
• Troubleshoot production and machinery challenges
• Maintain accurate records of all inventory and conduct monthly stocktake
• Identify opportunities for business improvement relating to production and manufacturing
• Process improvement – we have a process – but we are always open to ways that we can improve. We expect you to find ways to improve our process so that you and the rest of our team can be more efficient and effective.
