Your Job Requirements:

Your Job Responsibilities:

• Support MMG Growth: Designs and deploys network and voice communications systems following existing best practices and actively communicate changes within the IT infrastructure to all effected parties proactively and in an effective manner. Establish and maintain strict testing and deployment methodologies for IT Operations. Develops and provides statistics on success and impact of changes. Creates, implements and manages activity control matrices for each technology in the Network domain.
• Disaster Recovery/Business Continuation: Design and implement the processes to establish and maintain appropriately available network operations environment with primary focus being on HIM, Finance, HR, Supply Chain and email systems. This includes controlled observation and evaluation of new technologies and methodologies. Schedules tests and documentation revision quarterly. Provides reporting to management.
• Capacity, Configuration and Architecture Management: Develop the roadmap and standards for the MHS Cisco LAN, WAN and Wireless environments. Document all standards and configurations. Responsible for designing and maintaining all MDFs and IDFs. Proactively manage system capacity through the use of monitoring tools and statistical analysis. Generate and manage system life cycle recommendations and funding requests. Train TOC staff to maintain Technical Operations Center support on-site at the Data Center 24X7.
• Availability/Incident Management: Leads the timely resolution of problems on IT Operations network hardware, software and circuits. This includes auditing and maintaining the system operations in accordance with all regulatory requirements with primary focus on confidentiality and HIPAA Security Regulations. This also includes solving issues related to Disaster Recovery, AD, DNS/WINS, DHCP, Cisco IOS, Cisco 1000V and Citrix.

This position is responsible for conducting training for providers primarily using Epic in the inpatient setting, under the direction of the Health Informatics Training (HIT) Director, HIT Manager or Epic Trainer Team Lead. Proficiency or credentialed in the Epic’s Orders module is preferred. Training is conducted in both the classroom setting and virtually, via Zoom. The Epic Trainer is assigned application(s) and is responsible for achieving an in-depth understanding of the software, policies and procedures, and workflows for each application.

Responsible for the preparation of the training classes they are scheduled to facilitate, including all needed training materials/supplies. Responsible for quality control, including administering a proficiency assessment and class evaluation at the end of each session, and forwarding ideas to improve the effectiveness of the training to the module’s Principal Trainer, Team Lead, Manager or Director.

This position will represent the Health Informatics Training department, as the initial point of contact, for the respective Epic end users. A pro-active stance to bring a favorable impression of Epic and the Health Informatics Training team is a paramount responsibility of this position.  Attention to customer service is expected and the ability to explain, especially when decisions are contrary to that of the requester.  Development of working relationships with clinic and hospital based partners to improve upon the Epic reputation will be an on-going expectation of this role.

Epic Trainers are members of enterprise and/or local system project teams and participate in discussions regarding building, testing, and maintaining the training environment, as well as the development and maintenance of training materials for the training program. They will support the analysts and Health Informatics teams in technological competency assessments. In addition to training end-users within the hospitals, this Epic Trainer will also train additional trainers within the organization, maintain policy/procedure documentation, provide training for new hires, and coordinate training for new software releases and updates.

Due to the nature of this job there could be occasions when this role will be expected to work weekends and after-hours, especially during software upgrade roll outs.

Epic Trainers ensure alignment of all application training activities with cultural and clinical transformation objectives. They identify and manage resistance to change, as related to their respective application(s) of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and provides Epic desktop and mobile apps training for onboarding and current providers and other Epic users
• Continually assesses educational needs and provides additional training based on rounding and results shared from Epic’s productivity reports.
• Collaborates with the Health Informatics Training Director, Manager, Team Lead and other team members to conduct Epic’s usage efficiency (Thrive) training
• Assists Principal Trainers in validating the training environment, developing training curriculum, training videos and testing workflows for various end user roles
• Responds and troubleshoots end user Epic issues that are reported via electronic systems and software used by the department. Identifies opportunities for process improvement in support of Epic initiative
• Responsible for keeping current with system changes and enhancements to ensure a thorough knowledge of the clinical information systems as they relate to both physicians and clinical staff.
• Meets routinely  with site specific leaders to gather feedback and identify training priorities
• Attends physician and other Epic end user group meetings as scheduled and follows up on issues brought up in those meetings

Job Description :

Your Job: The Biomedical Equipment Technician II (BMET II) maintains, tests, and calibrates advanced diagnostic and Therapeutic Medical Equipment Systems, as assigned, to insure safe and proper operation. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on advanced medical equipment according to the departmental guidelines established in the Methodist Health System Policies  & Procedures, as well as Federal, State, and Industry recognized standards. The BMET II documents all maintenance activities and seeks assistance of Senior Biomedical Equipment Technicians as needed on more complex issues. Your Job Requirements: • Associates Degree (Military Training or equivalent work experience) in one of the following disciplines. • 4 years experience working as a BMET 1 is required. • Must be able to use all electronic hand tools and test equipment. • Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field in order to provide supportive and technical expertise to customers. • Must be able to work night shift or overtime if required. Your Job Responsibilities: • Performs comprehensive scheduled maintenance and calibration procedures on assigned, advanced medical equipment per manufacturer’s specifications, State and Federal Guidelines. • Provides quality technical assistance to customers on advanced medical equipment. • Perform safety testing on all medical equipment annually and after each repair or scheduled maintenance check. • Practices and adheres to all current safety regulations and policies regarding servicing of diagnostic/ therapeutic medical equipment and all other safety practices. • Identifies any safety related issues and instructs fellow technicians and operators on corrective measures. • Performs unscheduled repairs, in a timely manner, on all medical devices assigned to his or her area of responsibility in accordance with manufacture’s guidelines. • Performs customer follow-up after each repair is completed. • Provides safety and operator training on advanced medical equipment to hospital STAFFs needed. • Performs administrative duties as assigned in his or her area of responsibility to include:  completion of all paperwork associated with safety testing, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance within two working days of work completion. • Perform other job duties as assigned.

The Grand Central & Prelude Senior Epic Analyst is a highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our patients. The Grand Central & Prelude Senior Epic Analyst supports the functionality of Grand Central & Prelude/RTE modules for Methodist outpatient community offices.

This position requires extensive knowledge of Epic Grand Central, Prelude, and RTE application build/maintenance. It is an application analyst of system functionality.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related specialty, and/or equivalent experience.
• Epic Grand Central & Prelude Certification is required; Real-Time Transaction Eligibility certification is    desired
• Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing with various levels of staff.
• Ability to work as a team player
• Ability to work independently
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Work closely with public; ability to retain composure, interact with tact
• Work Experience: 3+ years as an Epic analyst
• Works with confidential patient information

General Job Summary:

Working collaboratively with users of the Clinical Information System, will be responsible for coordinating aspects of support, maintenance, and evaluation of the Clinical Information Systems. Serves as a resource person for the daily operational issues of the hospital’s clinical systems. Interacts with users sharing knowledge and skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Act as a Clinical liaison between IS Department and Patient Care Areas. With assistance from the IS Education Coordinator, develop education literature and training programs for the clinical applications. Provide education to clinical staff regarding Information System’s clinical applications. (40%)
2. Act as the IS project leader for new implementations and updates to IS’ clinical applications. Collaborate with the clinical staff involved in implementations, training and support in coordinating evaluation of development efforts, in planning pilot and full implementations of new CIS features, and in processing user feedback and requests. (25%)
3. Maintain a detailed understanding and working knowledge of the current CIS, its functions and its relationship to other information systems within the enterprise; as well as maintain membership on, or consultation to, committees, work groups, or task forces as needed to communicate and facilitate the ongoing progress of the development, implementation, and revision of the CIS. (20%)
4. Assist clinical staff in identifying cause and solution to computer issues while providing cross-training for other members of the IS staff with regard to clinical information systems. (5%)
