Cyber Mission Specialist

You will design, plan, prepare, execute, report, and sanitize in a cyber range environment where cyber red teams aggress against blue teams comprised from Cyber Protection Teams (CPT) and Mission Defense Teams (MDT) represented in Combatant Command, Services, Agencies, and Organizations. You'll develop and implement strategies to optimize stakeholders, partners, and participants training. You will establish relationships and coordinate across red, blue, and white cells. You'll communicate with participants via phone calls, VTC’s, emails, and documentation. You will determine procedures for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems, including traffic generation providing realism for blue and red teams. You'll report changes, trends, and implications regarding the design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. You will develop and manage schedules for future year forecast, current year activities, cyber range events, or specialized engagements. You'll prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results. You will update action items conducted review and analysis of planned engineering and operational objectives. You'll provide consultation and analysis to clients, stakeholders, partners, and participants on a wide spectrum of cyber issues and topics.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with Cybersecurity
- Experience in the Joint Staff, Combatant Command staff, or JTF level staff conducting operational planning, training planning, or management
- Knowledge of Joint Command and Control systems, processes, and organizational structures
- Knowledge of processes, tools, and measures to monitor and detect network security compromises
- Ability to develop and manage Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and lead Integrated Planning Teams (IPT) and Working Groups
- Ability to work with participant organizations from across all Service, Interagency, and partners to incorporate teams via remote or on-site participation and monitoring and reviewing systematic activity
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Experience developing cyber-related RDT&E processes with live or virtual environments in conjunction with unit level training evaluation and certification
- Ability to leverage domain expertise to create cybersecurity solutions aligned to the client's mission
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or Strategic Planning
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
