Job Description
Ares is currently seeking candidates for an Associate role within our Capital Solutions Group. The Capital Solutions Group works across various Ares’s business lines managing the Firm’s global banking relationships, leading, or partnering on various financing transactions, and overseeing the Firm’s hedging programs. The candidate will gain broad exposure across various asset classes and functions within the organization. The role will also require frequent interactions with our banking relationships and external counsels. It’s an opportunity for the candidate to expand their relationships and network across financial markets.
Reports to: Partner, Head of Ares Global Capital Solutions Group
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
The Associate will provide overall support by assisting with structuring and execution of financing transactions, assisting with capital planning across platforms, and managing banking relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing overall banking relationships
• Preparing relationship presentations for executive management
• Negotiating, structuring and execution of various financing transactions
• Lead capital planning across platforms
• Additional duties include providing direct support as deemed necessary by senior management
Qualifications
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree required
Experience Required:
•High intellect with solid quantitative, financial, and analytical skills
•3+ years of relevant industry experience

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work well with limited supervision

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
$90,000 - $105,000
