We’re seeking a Junior Logistics Coordinator based in Ho Chi Minh City to join our team as a full-time remote contractor. In this role, you will be reporting to the Logistics Manager and support our logistics operations by managing the supply chain for our SmartBox devices, overseeing inventory, coordinating shipments, and working closely with suppliers to ensure smooth operations. You’ll also assist in identifying ways to optimize our logistics processes and maintain exceptional service quality. On time, we will require visits to our Vietnam based supplier in Thu Duc City and other nearby cities.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Coordination: Arrange and track domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers. 
• Supplier Relations: Communicate with suppliers to manage procurement, lead times, and quality assurance. 
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records for inventory, shipments, and supplier contracts.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring adequate supply to meet customer demand.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
• Compliance: Ensure all shipments adhere to customs regulations and international trade laws.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Customer Success, and Product to align logistics operations with business goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Fluent in English at a professional business level (spoken and written).
• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
• Basic knowledge of project management software (Asana, Monday, etc)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Chinese language skills are a plus.

Typical work assignments include:

• Instructing or evaluating student pilots in advanced instrument flight techniques, human factors, cockpit resource management, emergency procedures, and the operation of high performance aircraft which includes hazardous maneuvers and procedures.
• Instructing pilots in methods of instruction and evaluating their proficiency to engage in flight instruction.
• Testing and certifying aircraft airworthiness by evaluating mechanical deficiencies and functionality of the airframe, components, and systems.

As an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC LEADER, WL-8852-10, you will:

• Monitors the work of assigned personnel, sets the pace, passes along assignments, and assures that materials, tools, equipment, and stock are available.
• Works along with aircraft mechanics and specialist personnel performing journeyman work as required. Perform readiness evaluations, inspections, and command support exercises
• Advises the supervisor of overall work operations, status and progress of work, causes for delays, problems encountered, and individual performance (e.g., additional on-the-job training requirements for individual employees).
• On a daily basis, recommends adjustments in work schedules to provide optimum utilization of personnel in support of functional requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

As an AIRCRAFT MECHANIC, WG-8852-11, you will:

• Participate in various types of readiness evaluations
• Perform inspection, functional checks, and preventive maintenance on aircraft
• Troubleshoot and perform unscheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft utilizing various testing equipment
• Observe and ensure compliance with standard procedures and applicable technical publications
• Provide data for aircraft maintenance historical records,maintenance data, collection, and man-hour accounting

• Plans, coordinates and controls shipment of material and equipment. Prepares shipment documentation for material and equipment shipped to include hazardous materials.
• Provides advice and assistance to customers concerning all aspects and phases of the DLA Distribution Depot transportation and distribution functions. Provides status, resolves problems, prepares reports and traces shipments upon requests.
• Provides traffic management support through selection, approval, procurement and use of safe and effective services carriers at the least cost to the government.
• Determines the most efficient economical rates and routes to final destination involving domestic inbound and export shipments, originating at any point worldwide.
• Is responsible for the classification, rating, routing and movement of a wide range of commodities, which includes hazardous materials.
• Plans shipping dates, material pick up and loading times of equipment and material to be shipped from DLA Distribution Depot to other government activities, both overseas and CONUS.
• Performs the day to day functions of the verification and payment of invoices utilizing various automated systems.
• Computes and verifies transportation costs and contacts carriers for rates when required.

As an AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR, WS-8801-14, you will:

• Resolve grievances and ensures proper corrective action is taken
• Recommend promotion or reassignment of subordinate supervisors
• Readiness evaluations, inspections, and command support exercises
• Plan the overall allocation of personnel, funding, and equipment resources
• Ensure that subordinates wear appropriate safety equipment and follow safety precautions

• Serves as a team leader and senior specialist in a division responsible for establishing and enforcing policy for the execution of distribution operations to support DLA Distribution Centers.
• Participates in the development of command-wide policies and plans for managing workload and performance.

Requirements

• Min 7 to 8 years experience overseeing a team of 10 to run a Sea / Ocean Freight Export Operation for key account clients
• Extensive background in Freight Forwarding industry (Agent environment)
• Strong experience in Shipping, Booking and full Documentation functions
• Strong leadership skill
