The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to serve as chief of the combined Quality Assurance inspection shop. The AFRC associate Maintenance Group is fully integrated.

2. Represents unit in working with supply support organizations to determine requirements and the capability of supply to support those requirements.
3. Serves as the Decentralized Materiel Support for assistance on issues concerning Depot Level Reparables (DLRs).
4. Accountability of supply and equipment assets. Utilizes the Maintenance Interface System (MIS) database to provide on-line access to organization, equipment, mission, and status updates.

Major duties and responsibilities include:

• Receiving work assignments and direction regarding work methods, procedures and schedules from either the Transportation Coordinator and/or the Mobility Manager.
• Arriving at and departing from pickup and discharge points at scheduled times.
• Reading installation maps and judges road/traffic conditions to determine the shortest and safest route.
• Enforcing passenger safety and seatbelt use.
• Using multiple variations of Mobile Data Computer (MDC) in and out of the vehicles for assigned trips and duties daily.
