As part of the Personal Systems (PS) Fulfillment team, is accountable to collaborate with PS Market Category Leads and their teams to deliver against PS market attainment, cost and inventory goals and drive the proper order prioritization within a given market; along with adequate linkage to the Customer Operations for PS execution related questions.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (DOT) is searching for a Deputy Director for Planning. DOT is responsible for the planning, design, building and maintenance of 2,000 miles of roadways; 7 miles of interstate highways; 298 bridges and culverts; 3,600 miles of sidewalks, curbing and gutters; 456 miles of alleys; 72,000 streetlights; 1,300 signalized intersections; and 250,000 traffic and informational signs within the City of Baltimore. Additionally, DOT leadership coordinates regularly with the Maryland Department of Transportation on transit supportive infrastructure, major collaborative projects, and state and federal funding for roadway and bridge projects within the City of Baltimore. All Departmental activities are focused on re-envisioning and altering public rights of way to better serve all neighborhoods, all roadway users, and to ensure equitable investment across the City.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides vision, oversight, and management for the assigned divisions: Transportation Services and Planning for the Department of Transportation. Employs practices and creates a positive culture to ensure attraction and retention of qualified staff.
• Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; recommends, within departmental policy, appropriate service, and staffing levels.
• Manages and participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities for assigned programs.
• Reviews, formulates, and recommends new and amended transportation policy and legislation.
• Monitors and comments on regional, state, and federal actions, program, and plans impacting the Agency and other local transportation services; provides analysis about the impacts.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Signing Bonus: New employees are eligible for a $5,000 bonus; with $2,500 paid on the first payroll, and $2,500 paid upon completion of six month introductory period from hire date.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

City of Aurora is looking for a motivated self-starter to serve as a Project Engineer for transportation capital improvement projects as part of the Transportation Project Delivery Group of the Engineering Services Division of the Public Works Department. Project Engineers’ primary responsibilities are transportation project management, design development and construction management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Bachelor's degree, from an accredited institution, in civil engineering or related field

Knowledge:

• Considerable knowledge of current engineering principles and practices applicable to municipal engineering projects

• Local, state and federal laws and regulations related to roadway, drainage, erosion control, and utility relocation

This is a Full Time, benefits eligible position.

The position of Scheduler provides scheduling support for Providers, PAs, and the Surgical RN Clinical Assistants. The scheduler provides administrative assistance in the areas of surgical scheduling, preauthorization for testing and procedures, and referrals to consultants and for testing. The Scheduler’s work is done in an effort to ensure an optimal patient surgical experience, cost-effective measures of operation, maximum reimbursement, optimal lines of communication, and promotes effective management of various areas of responsibility. Responsible for accurate and complete work based on organization standards, policies and procedures, HIPAA, and compliance with regulatory agencies.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of work experience in directly communicating and providing service to patients or public; preferably in a healthcare related field.
• Prior medical office experience, referral experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with data entry/keyboarding.

Essential Duties:
• Serves as the champion of the patient experience
• Obtains all prior authorization information by working collectively with insurance companies and other partners.
• Schedules the procedure with the patient in accordance with the CMH scheduling guidelines which highlights the maximization of the scheduling process.
• Ensures surgical prerequisites have been scheduled and completed prior to date of scheduled procedure.
• Collaborates with the Provider and support team to ensure the patient has a comprehensive understanding of their plan of care.
• Prepare for clinic visits by reviewing next day patients and completing next day preparation activities.
• Interacts with all individuals in a consistent manner, providing attention, support, and assistance to foster an environment of exceptional personal service.
• Reviews the schedule in a timely manner to ensure that all scheduled procedures and equipment are aligned as appropriate.

About the role

• This opening is for a Freight Admin Clerk to join our Team at Karawatha immediately

• This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role

• The working hours for this role are 18:00 – 02:00. This role will ideally suit somebody that is seeking PM/Night work. The successful applicant will also be eligible for a Shift Allowance.

• Create manifests, scan paperwork and ensure documentation is compliant     

• Assist revenue controllers with RPS and process proof of deliveries (POD’s) 

• Utilise our systems to complete administration and data entry tasks

• Debrief our drivers ensuring paperwork has been completed correctly

• Prioritise your work effectively and efficiently throughout the day and complete tasks in a timely manner

• Maintain staff, training and compliance databases where required

• Manage spreadsheet trackers, reports and other compliance documents in order to cleanse, update and maintain them on a regular basis

• Precise data entry skills and excellent attention to detail are a must to be successful in this role

• Previous experience in transport and logistics is preferred but not mandatory. Full scope training and support will be provided to the successful applicant.
