Job Summary

The Distribution Planning Supervisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the distribution planning team, which includes Demand & Supply Planners and Shipping Officers. The role involves overseeing inventory control, demand forecasting, material planning, and the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments. The supervisor will ensure that all processes are accurately and timely executed, compliance with customs regulations is maintained, and continuous improvements in logistics operations are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage the activities of the Demand & Supply Planning team and the Shipping team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Team Development: Take the responsibility to develop skills and confidence of each team member as well as their ability to work independently, through regular and effective individual meetings, team meetings and daily coaching.
  • Demand Planning: Oversee the updating and maintenance of demand forecasts in the SAP system by collaborating with Blum subsidiaries and analyzing historical data.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and adjust inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts, ensuring optimal inventory turnover.
  • Supply Planning: Manage material requests from Blum production sites and suppliers based on forecasted demand.
  • Customs & Declaration Process:
  • Oversee the activities of a team of shipping officers. Ensuring that documentation for importing and exporting goods are accurately prepared and comply with Malaysian and international trade regulations.
  • Inbound and Outbound Coordination: Oversee the timely and accurate receipt of inbound shipments and coordinate outbound shipments to Blum subsidiaries and customers.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate master data in the SAP system to support effective planning and decision-making.
  • Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on inventory status, forecast accuracy, and supply chain performance to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve planning and shipping processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to import/export processes promptly to avoid delays.

Requirement:

• • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in managing supply chain functions, including demand planning, inventory control, and shipping operations.
  • Strong proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems, specifically in inventory and production planning and import/export modules.
  • Extensive knowledge of Malaysian customs regulations, international trade laws, and transshipment processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English and Malay.

• 支援銷售部門執行銷售管理任務，並根據需要擔任 ISO9001/14001/45001/FSSC/RSPO/NSF 的 5S 檢查員、內部審核員。

Responsibilities:

• To handle customer inquiries and provide quotation given by Sales personnel.
• To verify customer's order for local (Msia) & export sales against quotation and Letter of Credit, D/A, D/P, T/T & COD payment terms.
• To process shipping documents, eg. Verifying customer's PO, Invoicing, Packing List, Bill of Lading, MITI Certificate of Origin, Insurance and knowledge of ERP system is preferable.
• To handle Local Transporter/Forwarding Agent for Malaysia & Singapore deliveries.
• To negotiate with Export Forwarder/Liners on freight rates and vessel bookings for export shipments and to verify in invoices from these service providers.
• To assist Sales personnel to obtain information or to reply to customer's email pertaining to inquiries, shipment arrangements and other sales related queries.
• To assist Sales Admin Manager to liaise with the Production, Store and QC department to ensure timely deliveries of Sales orders.
• To prepare monthly Sales Reports and yearly Budget Reports to present in monthly Sales Meeting.
• To handle customer complaint with internal departments and reply to customer with our finding & corrective action.
• To monitor customers payment and to follow-up with customer with outstanding payments.
• To support Sales Department with Sales Administrative task and to perform as a 5S Inspector, Internal Auditor for ISO9001/14001/45001/FSSC/RSPO/NSF as and when required.

Requirements:

• Male/Female below 35 years old.
• Must have at least 5 years of pertinent experience and supervision of employees
• Must possess the capability to communicate with top management.
• Possess of good knowledge in English writing and communication
• Bachelor's Degree in International Business Administration or Sales related field.
• Age: 30-40
