**Position Overview:**
As a Transport Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our transport department, with a focus on Pallet Network services. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of logistics, coordinating deliveries, maintaining records, and liaising with both customers and service providers. **Key Responsibilities:**


* **Transport Operations Management:** Oversee the daily transport operations, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods via the Pallet Network.
* **Customer and Service Provider Communication:** Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and third-party providers via email and phone to resolve issues, provide updates, and manage queries.
* **Logistics Coordination:** Schedule and coordinate deliveries, ensuring all shipments are dispatched and received on time and in accordance with client requirements.
* **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date transport records, including schedules, delivery logs, and relevant documentation.
* **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with other team members to achieve common objectives, ensuring that all operational needs are met.
* **Problem-Solving:** Address and resolve any operational issues or delays promptly, maintaining a high level of service.
* **Compliance and Safety:** Ensure all transport activities adhere to legal, health and safety, and industry standards.

**Key Strengths and Skills Required:**


* **Pallet Network Experience:** Proven experience in coordinating transport operations within a Pallet Network environment is essential.
* **Strong Communication Skills:** Ability to engage clearly, professionally, and effectively with customers, drivers, and colleagues.
* **Teamwork & Independence:** Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* **Time Management:** Skilled in prioritising tasks, managing competing deadlines, and staying organised in a fast-paced environment.
* **Multitasking:** Able to handle multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities with ease.
* **Attention to Detail:** A keen eye for accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
* **Trustworthiness:** Reliable in handling sensitive information and managing logistics and financial data.
* **Flexibility:** Able to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, including working outside regular hours if required.

**Desirable Skills & Experience:**


* Previous experience within a general haulage or transport coordination role.
* Familiarity with logistics software and transport management systems.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transport and logistics.
