Applicants must be available to work a flexible roster and be available 24/7 including public holidays to meet the business needs. This is a full time position offering approximately 38 hours per week.



Key responsibilities

-Preparation and production of quality bakery products as per Bakers Delight standards

-Ensure bread quality and range is up to standard and delivered in a timely manner to meet customer demands

-Maintain an effective relationship with all members of the bakery team

-Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough

-Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery production

-Decorating cakes with icing, buttercream and edible toppings

-Prepare pastry fillings

-Glaze buns and pastries

-Maintaining a cleanliness of machines, tools and workspace

-Monitoring oven temperatures and times of all baked products



To be considered for this role you must be able to meet the following criteria

-Flexibility to work across 7 days including some public holidays and be able to start from 2am

-Work in a fast paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff

-Portray a positive attitude

-Complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor

-Abide by company policies and procedures at all times

-Train develop and supervise apprentices and all staff

-Maintain an effective relationship with all members of the team

Previous Bakers Delight or similar bakery experience would be an advantage. Applicants with a minimum 3 years experience or cert lll in baking, as a baker will have priority for this role.

As a Biological Science Technician (Fisheries) within the Eastern Ecological Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

• Assist in ecological investigations on a river/stream, in a boat, wet lab, unheated flume/hatchery facility or other field environment.
• Rear fish in ponds, tanks, and raceways and preform associated laboratory maintenance and animal care protocols.
• Install, configure, and operate radio and passive integrated transponder (PIT) telemetry system; perform system operation checks; and retrieve data.
• Work with others as part of a team to accomplish goals.
• Assist scientists and engineers in collecting, assessing, and evaluating experimental data.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work requires some physical exertion, such as regular and recurring running, walking, or bending, walking or climbing ladders or scaffolds to observe, collect or record data. WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment varies from laboratory setting to field sites and offices. The mathematics department at Boston Spa Academy has an excellent track record of academic success. In the past two academic years, Progress 8 measures for the subject at GCSE were +0.97 and +1.07, placing the department as one of the highest performing in the country.
