The mathematics department at Boston Spa Academy has an excellent track record of academic success. In the past two academic years, Progress 8 measures for the subject at GCSE were +0.97 and +1.07, placing the department as one of the highest performing in the country. This is further supplemented by our thriving A Level provision, in which Mathematics and Further Mathematics have large numbers of students who achieve exceptionally well. The team consists of 12 teachers, with a Director of Maths, Deputy Director of Maths, and three Assistant Leaders of Maths. Westfield School is seeking to appoint a Subject Leader for Biology.
