Job Description:

• Responsible for developing and optimizing ion-implantation and rapid thermal anneal (RTA) processes to support IME's various program requirements.
• Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions and using test equipment or software to test faulty hardware parts, applying knowledge of the functional operation of the Ion implanter and RTA equipment.
• Collaborates closely with vendors to optimize equipment performance and reduce tool downtime.
• Setup and execute design of experiments (DOEs) at various dose, energy, tilt, and twist levels, and evaluate experimental data to meet required process specifications.
• Responsible for analyzing test data related to implant-related defect formation, and quantifying and minimizing defects.
• Champion process window characterization and evaluation to drive quality and yield improvement.
• Closely collaborate with process integration teams to implement technology roadmaps, define process capability requirements, and address structural implications and constraints related to ion-implantation and RTA processes.
• Work with fab team in establishing statistical process control for ion-implantation and RTA processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters in Materials Science and Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or closely related fields are welcome to apply.
• 3 years direct industry experience in ion-implantation, RTA and SiC MOSFET fabrication is preferred.
• Extensive proficiency in medium and high energy/current ion implantation, and RTA processes, including a comprehensive knowledge of equipment, equipment parts, and troubleshooting techniques to minimize equipment downtime.
• Good understanding of wide bandgap semiconductor materials and their corresponding dopant species.
• Expertise in ion channeling, ion bombardment, and their impact on the implant species profile.
• In-depth comprehension of defect formation and annihilation processes in the implanted region of semiconductors.

The primary research goal of The Developmental & Disease Epigenomics Laboratory, led by Dr Ksenia Skvortsova, is to uncover the evolution of epigenetic mechanisms governing allelic exclusion, X chromosome inactivation, and ciliogenesis, and to understand their roles in immune system development, the pathogenesis of female-biased autoimmunity, and developmental disorders with immune-related manifestations.

• The incumbent will conduct and participate in long-term monitoring of vegetation resources within the network parks.

Job Description

We are looking for talented wet-lab Research Fellow to work with a multidisciplinary group of scientists on the discovery of new targets for therapy in Diabetic Nephropathy (DN), a devastating complication of diabetes causing significant morbidity, mortality and human suffering. In Singapore, the incidence of DN as a cause of end-stage kidney disease is among the highest in the world. The job will be part of the NMRC-funded project called Diabetes Study in Nephropathy and other Microvascular Complications II, and it will be based within the Centre for Computational Biology (CCB). This position will be for a period of 3 years, with possible extension depending on work performance and funding availability.

The selected candidate will perform a variety of research activities, which include planning, organising and conducting research studies within the overall scope of a research project under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or his/her designate, including but not limited to the following:

• Independently carry out the design and execution of experimental research required by the research component of the project.

As part of IME’s Photonics & Sensors Department, the candidate will work on photonic device and PDK library development. This will include photonic device simulation, fabrication, characterization, optimization, and PDK development. You will work closely with an excellent multidisciplinary team working on photonics, electronics, semiconductor processes, integration, and fab operation.

Responsibilities:

• Design of passive and active photonic devices based on various 8-inch and-12 inch material platforms.
• Take the lead in designing integration flows to manufacture the designed devices.
• Develop automated electro-optic characterization systems for the designed and fabricated photonic devices.

The successful candidate will lead pre-clinical imaging efforts to validate novel imaging probes that target immune cell biomarkers. He/She will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution and communication of research.
