Job Description

The Engineer will be responsible for driving electro-mechanical product development in compliance with ISO 13485 standards across multiple levels, from component to product. The role includes planning and monitoring New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, managing engineering changes, and maintaining documentation, including Design History Files. ROLE:
IME is leading the effort to establish the industry leading Silicon Carbide R&D program. This program aims to advance 200mm Silicon Carbide technologies in various areas, such as epitaxy, device design, process integration & fabrication, and power module packaging. The main objective is to drive disruptive innovations in power device research, with a specific focus on >1.2KV power MOSFETs. These innovations are intended to enhance automotive technologies, vehicle electrification, safety measures, sustainable energy grids, and industrial automation. Key aspects to demonstrate for this role include high power device design, novel device concepts, doping design, gate oxidation, and wide-bandgap process simulations. Our objective is to drive innovation in power device research, particularly in power MOSFETs rated above 1.2KV. This role involve growing leadership into ion implantation processes for p-body, channel, guard ring, source contact, and other components. We are currently seeking such individual with ~5 years of experience in ion implantation. The chosen candidate will be responsible for independently supervising ion implantation processes, conducting ion implant simulations, possessing knowledge of crystallography and ion interaction with atoms, having strong understanding of implanters and related thermal processing physics, beam optics, dosimetry systems, and vacuum technology. The ideal candidate should also be willing to collaborate with various departments, the technology development group, and customers. Furthermore, the candidate will contribute to the wide-bandgap team by sharing the ion implantation expertise on compound semiconductor materials and collaborate with other departments working with Si-based technology. We are now recruiting for a Duty Manager to join the team on a full time (35 hours), 8 month fixed term contract.

As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in upholding our standards and ensuring a fantastic experience for our visitors. Working closely with colleagues across all operational departments, you will ensure a smooth and efficient operations including the enjoyment, security, experience, well-being and Health and Safety of the Museum visitors, colleagues and contractors.

You will act as a floor-based manager delivering routine museum operations, as well as overseeing and coordinating responses to operational problems that arise during public opening hours. You will be able to operate independently when required as the senior manager on-site, ensuring that all KPIs and service standards are met.

This contract is due to start at the beginning of February 2025.

• High proficiency in Python is a must. Experience in C, C++, Rust, or other programming languages is a plus.

The Health Services and Systems Research (HSSR) Programme at Duke-NUS is a centre of academic excellence for research and education on the organisation, funding and delivery of health services. The programme’ s focus is on public health and clinical service innovation in an increasingly complex and connected world. The selected candidate will work in Cardiovascular Health Research Services Unit established under the CArdiovascular DiseasE National Collaborative Enterprise (CADENCE) national clinical translational programme. They will perform a variety of activities relevant to the planned economic evaluations for health interventions and assist a team of health economists.

Job Description

• Perform data cleaning, handling and analysis
• Perform economic evaluations in healthcare (cost analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, cost-utility analysis or budget impact analysis) with guidance
• Assist in drafting research abstracts and manuscripts
• Assist in preparation of PowerPoint presentations to various stakeholders
• Conduct literature reviews to evaluate the potential value of health innovations
• Assist in preparation of evaluation reports for the health economics team
• Extract data from existing databases and published literature
• Manage projects from start to end with guidance (i.e. Develop research objectives and study design, perform data extraction and data collation, conduct data modelling, perform statistical analysis and engage and collaborate with various stakeholders)
• Support secretariat and administrative functions pertaining to the health economics team at HSSR

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Master’s Degree in Public Health is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience with quantitative data
• Adept at working with data, including processing raw data to visualise trends and deciphering patterns and ability to handle large data sets
• Experience in various quantitative research methods preferred.
• Experience or training in health economics will be beneficial.
• Experience with R programming language, and a willingness to learn more applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work in a team, with dynamic reporting lines and multiple stakeholders
• Able to work independently with limited supervision
