As a Program Manager, R & D , you will :

We are a multidisciplinary team of experts who offers key domain expertise in product development. The team develops products used by Life Science researchers and clinician, Healthcare practitioners, in mission critical industrial application, hospitality Point of Sales System and many other industries. The R&D Program Manager serves an important role in leading a cross functional development team in working with customer on the product requirement, establish & track program matrices, and deliver the final solutions to customer. He/She will manage the new product development process/cycle. R&D Program Manager manages the program financial health and total customer relationship management

• Work in a R&D environment, managing design and development of new products in working with customer to meet the milestones agreed.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and cross functional teams in Venture for program execution.
• Responsible to provide solutions that meet customer’s requirements on cost/schedule/quality.
• Accountable to drive and ensure all program requirements are delivered as planned.
• Drive all department and disciplines deliverables in the program
• Accountable in ensuring timely program status update to internal and external stake holders.
• Interface with customer on RFQ, and to define scope of work together with key team members.
• Plan and manage program budget, resource and schedule.
• Lead RFQ quotation process and seek management approval.
• Lead a cross functional teams to execute the development program once business award.
• Lead cross functional teams and partners to deliver successful program from definition to mass production
• Organize, control and implementation of program execution as per plan.
• Identify key program risk and develop mitigation/contingency plan with the program team.
• Provide program progress report to customer and management.
• Work with NPI team to transfer design to manufacturing.
• Champion of Product Development Life Cycle Management and meeting ISO requirement.
• Participate in technology brain-storming forum or/and product road mapping.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

• Masters/Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with minimum 8-10 years of experience in a program management capacity in either hardware or firmware/software development
• Experience in complex mechanism instrumentation/product development is desired.
• Experience in Electronics system development and qualification process.
• Knowledge of Electronics system, production regulatory and submittal process.
• People management experience is preferred but not a requirement.
• Working experience in a multinational and / or manufacturing environment would be preferred.
• Strong leadership qualities and initiative.
• Mature with a global outlook in product development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good team player and ability to rally the team to achieve the goals.
• Overseas travel is/may be required.
