GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job collaborates with all disciplines for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating / documenting psychosocial factors which contribute to patients' illnesses and/or have an impact on continuity of care; scope of services may include, but is not limited to, discharge planning, counseling, crisis intervention, information and referral, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse, suspected abuse, psychiatric services and guardianships per regulatory requirements. Services may be provided both inpatient and outpatient.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completes and documents psychosocial assessments, intervention, and coordination of care to identified populations.
• Provides crisis intervention/counseling to identified populations to enhance patient/family coping mechanisms regarding illness.
• Engages the patient/family/significant other and interdisciplinary team in the discharge process to identify appropriate post-acute resources and community service follow-ups.
• Provides education to patients/family/significant other and interdisciplinary team regarding psychosocial factors related to illness.
• Actively participates in those areas of expertise to further enhance the role of social work within the hospital.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Master’s degree in Social Work (current employees may be exempted)
• Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance may be required depending on location.

Preferred

• LSW or LCSW eligibility preferred depending upon facility requirements.
• 2 years’ experience in a hospital/multidisciplinary health care setting.

Job Description:

Berklee College of Music invites applications for a full-time member of African History or African Political Science in the Africana Studies Department housed in the Africana Studies Division. The successful candidate will teach sections of Colonialism & Apartheid in Africa and other courses as assigned. This is a nine-month position with renewable contract; initial appointment to begin September 2024. Compensation and rank are commensurate with education and professional experience.

The successful full-time faculty member will report to the Chair of Africana Studies. The ideal candidate will have content expertise and is a skilled educator. Job Description

The Aeronautical Science Department in the College of Aviation (COA) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University—Daytona Beach invites applications for a Tenure-Track 9-month appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor. The qualified candidate will teach courses held in the Department of Aeronautical Science for both the Aeronautical Science and Aeronautics undergraduate degree programs. They will also demonstrate an active or promising research agenda in areas of study consistent with flight operations or other aviation related subjects.

The Aeronautical Science (AS) Department hosts the largest degree program for professional pilots in the world and is one of the largest departments on the Daytona Beach Campus. It houses three undergraduate degree programs focusing on professional aviation, which include the Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Science, Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and Bachelor of Science in Uncrewed Aircraft Systems. All programs in the AS department are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI).

Excellence in teaching and the growth of a well-developed research portfolio are our top priority. Other priorities include service to the university and a strong commitment to student mentorship.

The qualified candidate will have a broad base of knowledge and experience in the operation of large-transport category aircraft or high performance aircraft used in business aviation. Philips Transparency Details

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $156,500 to $198,00 annually, plus company fleet/car.  Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $156,500 to $198,000 annually, plus company fleet/car.  Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.

• You will drive to identify opportunities by providing insights into possible leads resulting from working with third-party vendors, trade shows, local conferences, and other industry events.

• You will collaborate with Philips AE, IGT team, DCS group, AVC and ECG Solutions field reps to develop a SWOT analysis and build a database, by hospital, of the entire installed base to establish competitive positioning and understand upcoming opportunities.
• In partnership with local team, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, qualifying and understanding customer needs, owning solution creation and positioning offering to secure the opportunity. Developing deep customer needs analysis.
• You will drive visibility by understanding business opportunities in the region, including emerging markets.

You’re the right fit if:

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, MBA, MHA or MPH – preferred
• You have 8+ years of Field Sales experience required – Ideally in the cardiology market
• You have proven sales success selling to C-Suite within IDNs in assigned territory.  Experience selling into accounts that are characterized by a complex sales cycle with multiple decision makers  
• You have the ability to educate the customer, not only about the sales organization's products and services, but also about industry trends and business issues and or billing models
