About the Role

As a full-time on-site Research and Development (R&D) Electronic Engineer located in Jakarta, you will play a pivotal role in innovating and developing electronic components for our smart home products. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of technology, contributing to the design and enhancement of our electronic solutions. Add-ons for this position to support the placement of our brands Matrix and Nex Parabola.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development of electronic systems, components, and prototypes for smart home applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new electronic products, ensuring they meet functional and quality standards.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electronic design issues and recommend solutions to enhance product performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development and innovation.
• Document design processes, test results, and project updates to maintain clarity and transparency with stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in electronic product design, development, and testing.
• Proficient in using design and simulation tools such as MATLAB, SPICE, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of circuit design, embedded systems, and microcontrollers.
• Experience with prototyping, testing, and debugging electronic components.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred experience includes handling electronic products such as lamps, cameras, sensors, computers, and more will be plus.

Due to exponential growth, we are looking for four new Actuarial Analysts to join our Change and Transformation team to support with the delivery of several transformation projects across our clients. This involves providing requirement analysis, modelling and testing of product calculations and other responsibilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to develop their career and skills within Actuary, with continuing support from us to complete your examinations, as well as providing opportunities to progress to more senior positions.

Locations: Peterborough and Bristol, but other locations considered

You'll be:

• Applying data analysis methods and techniques to investigate and validate complex calculation models.
• Interpreting actuarial and product information to ensure accuracy of calculations.
• Responsible for the analysis, identification and collation of static data required for calculations.
• Responsible for the specification of Expects Results (ERs), and test conditions to test calculations.
• Owning the resolution of issues and liaising with actuarial, IT developers, product experts, TCS BaNCS and clients to drive solution outcomes.

• Working towards IFoA qualification exams.

• Able to analyse vast quantities of data under time constraints.

What you'll be doing;



- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets from various sources

- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends

- Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and project goals

- Create visualisations to communicate findings effectively

- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute ideas for improving data science processes

- Learn and apply best practices in data science methodologies and tools

What we're looking for;



- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas)

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling techniques

- Basic understanding of SQL and database management

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
