This is a term appointment not to exceed 1 year 1 day. Major duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Manages Clinical Tests and Collects Data

The regulatory affairs consultant for Asia Pacific will provide regulatory strategic and tactical leadership for drug development projects, including health authority interactions, regulatory submissions, clinical trial applications and other regulatory requirements in line with GARDP objectives, timelines and budgets. This role requires a deep understanding of local regulatory requirements and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The AMR IRG is an interdisciplinary community of biologists, engineers, and clinicians from MIT and Singapore, sharing a state-of-the art research facility and united by a commitment to providing a supportive intellectual environment where students and staff can learn, grow, and contribute to solving a pressing societal problem.

The objective of this project is to advance the field of RNA analysis by developing and implementing innovative analytical tools. These tools will be used in a comprehensive study of all forms of RNA -- the ribonucleome -- and the >170 RNA modifications -- the epitranscriptome -- in disease pathobiology, host-pathogen interactions, biomarker development, and therapeutic target discovery.

Responsibilities

The Research Engineer will plan and conduct experiments with the aim of studying the roles of RNA modifications in human immunue diseases. The candidate will work primarily on cell culture, RNA isolation, and chromatography-coupled mass spectrometry analysis. Research Fellow

We are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Fellow (Research Fellow). A person with background in molecular biology, cell culture, imaging and data analysis (including modelling and python programming) and has theoretical background on actin are encouraged to apply.

The MBI and NUS provide state-of-the-art facilities dedicated to microfluidics, high-resolution imaging, and cell culture that will support the fellow in training, setup, and execution of the project, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with talented and motivated research staff, interdisciplinary PIs, and clinician scientists.

Qualifications

1. PhD in molecular cell biology or relevant biomedical disciplines. Candidates in the process of completing their PhDs in the relevant disciplines may also apply.
2. Competence in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell culture, and confocal microscopy.
3. Experiece in image analysis, photomanipulation and bioinformatics are highly desired.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills
5. Highly motivated to work both independently and as a team member
