GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job manages the daily operations of a complex large/multiple full time locations/physician practices.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages the day to day operations of the physician practice(s), including front and back office functions. (20%)
• Supervises staff, resolves problems and implements approved disciplinary action. Interviews, hires, trains and conducts performance evaluations. (20%)
• In conjunction with the director, develops the practice budget. Manages and monitors key financial and revenue cycle metrics, including staff hours, resource allocation, expense budget, patient volumes, and the revenue cycle process. Provides primary (or secondary) review of reconciliation of monies being collected and deposited. (20%)
• Responsible for monitoring patient satisfaction reports, identifying variances from standard, addressing and resolving patient complaints. (10%)
• Responsible for quality and performance improvement by monitoring metrics and addressing deficiencies. (10%)
• Works collaboratively with physicians, leadership and health professionals to accomplish organization and practice goals. (10%)
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements. (10%)
• Requires frequent travel to various practice locations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years’ experience in physician practice setting with 2 years’ practice management experience.

Preferred

• Experience managing multiple sites.
• CPPM (Certified Physician Practice Manager) certification.

Job Purpose

Key Job Responsibilities

• The co-op must be efficient and productive and achieve results by committed deadlines.
• The co-op should be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done, ask for clarity or additional instruction when needed, and be able to work independently as well as cooperatively with the team.

Critical Requirements of the Local Student College Co-Op Program

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma/GED and already enrolled at an accredited college or university located close to the Northeast Dow Center in Collegeville, PA Dow site, pursuing an undergraduate degree.
• Successfully complete a minimum of 6 credit hours per term during both the Fall and Winter terms (~Sept-Apr).
• Seeking high performing student with strong GPAs of 3.000+ is preferred
• Able to begin work very soon, usually within 3 weeks of the job offer, and work year-round at least 16 hours each week ONLY during our regular business hours (8am-5pm, Mon-Fri…max 8 hours/day and 30 hours/week during school).
• Commit to the role for at least 1 full calendar year (BEFORE completing classes for your stated undergraduate degree or BEFORE transferring out of the area).  Students available longer than one year before completing their degree program are preferred and advantaged. 
• Reliable attendance and punctuality in commuting to work daily or at least 2 days a week; therefore, dependable transportation, dedication and time management skills are absolutely required. 
• Any current Dow college co-ops wishing to transfer into this role must have been in their current role at least one full year, must have at least one full year left before graduating or transferring out of the area, and must have supervisor approval before applying to each Dow co-op job posting.

The Role

As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a team of full-time researchers capturing data that supports CoStar Group products.  CoStar Group researchers collect data, research, and imagery on assigned commercial properties to capture the features and highlights of each building.  CoStar Group customers rely on our team to offer content that drives real estate transactions.  As a Field Research Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that researchers are always meeting both production and quality standards.  Meeting deadlines for our internal clients is a critical part of your responsibilities.  Working in the field with each of your researchers throughout the month to ensure best practices are implemented and provide coaching and mentoring is required. This role will be based in market.

Responsibilities:

• Build, train, mentor, and coach a growing team of 8-10 professional field researchers.
• Daily review of the team’s production measured against KPI metrics.
• Spend quality time in the field with local and regional team members to demonstrate best practice with data collection, time management and overall efficiency.
• Review incoming data and imagery to determine its quality relative to standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College
• 3-5 years’ direct operations management of 6+ employees, virtual management a plus
• Leadership and management skills, including the ability to prioritize and control the workload of a team, coaching, and mentoring through professional development.
• Experience with creating and managing effective KPIs, along with meeting performance metrics and being results-oriented.

• Ability to work in a collaborative setting.

• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program OR 1 year of Medical Assistant OR 1 year in a direct patient care role, including vital signs. Candidate experience must align with expected clinical duties (i.e., injections, phlebotomy, EKGs)

Certification Requirements:

• Employees who have: graduated from a medical assistant program within five years OR proof of one year of work experience as a medical assistant in the last three years must complete certification training and/or attempt testing within 30 days of hire and must obtain certification within 120 days of hire.
• Accepted Medical Assistant Certification (NHA, AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA)

Employees who have not met the above certification criteria may have the opportunity to sit for a company proctored certification exam when qualified.

In this role you will be working with all platform teams from JLG at the R&D Facility. You will have the ability to assist in the design of creative solutions for New Product Development Projects. This is a hands-on role with involvement on new products within JLG. You will be working cross functionally with various engineering teams to develop the products of tomorrow.

SUMMARY:

As a R&D Fabrication Technician you will be part of the R&D Design team for Access. You will be responsible to support the fabrication shop with fabrication and material handling.  As part of the fabrication team in R&D, you will be working with equipment such as saws, welders and fabrication equipment to create parts. 

YOUR IMPACT

FABRICATION DUTIES:

• Weld complex/customized parts and weldments with foresight to avoid any technical issues
• Responsible for determining the appropriate equipment and methods required to tool, tack and weld complex parts.
• Responsible for maintaining the equipment and tools required to perform the job in your area.
• Work closely with Sr. and Lead Technicians to maintain appropriate stock of tooling table equipment, welding equipment and consumables to perform the job at hand.
• Ability to interpret an engineering drawing and 3D model to develop complex tooling setups using BluCo modular tooling to create parts and weldments.
• Maintain tooling, tooling tables, welders and measuring equipment required for fabricating activities
• Assemble and/or disassemble complex projects and mechanical structures through referencing drawings and work instructions with minimal input.
• Ability to work with Engineering team when fabricating parts
• Ability to communicate via email, phone, in person and skype conversations
• Develop and mentor fellow fabrication specialists to follow best practices and standards.
• Operate equipment to part down material to appropriate size.

MATERIALS DUTIES:

• Shuttle finished parts to the next process or workstation
• Organize weldment kits and place in orderly fashion until needed for next process
• Tag all parts when finished for next steps
• Assist in material handling throughout fabrication shop as needed
• Unload and transport raw materials to proper location with fork truck or TMH
• Place in stagging area, organized neatly
• Label materials with color code, project # (if provided) and thickness or size (sheet, bar, tubing, etc.)
• Provide paperwork to materials team, to assist with receiving of material
• Place materials on inventory rack as needed

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Communicate and work cross functionally to resolve problems.
• Understand and execute directions and instructions.
• Follow through on instructions/directions and provide constructive feedback to all levels of the organization
• Plan and schedule daily activities to complete assignments in their order of priority to make effective use of time and ensure projects are being completed within identified timeline
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures during all aspects of job performance which includes regular exposure to personal and physical hazards
• Operate heavy equipment, machinery or drive vehicles for the purpose of R&D development

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical Diploma with three (3) years of experience in engineering or equivalent*.  
• Ability to travel 5%.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Associate’s degree with three (3) years of experience in engineering or equivalent*.
• Certified Welder (CW) (internal certification required within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of automotive and mechanical terms.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, government regulations and procedure manuals.
• Ability to adapt to a fast pace environment.
• Detail oriented.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

*Note: equivalent equates approximately four (4) years of on the job experience to one (1) year of formal education.
