Role Overview:

The Market Research Fieldwork Operations & Logistics Executive will play a critical role in supporting the execution of fieldwork projects and maintaining our high standards of operational excellence. You will work closely with suppliers, project managers, and research teams to ensure efficient logistics and facilitate smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork Component

• Co-ordination of fieldwork in Market.  Attending fieldwork tests where required.
• Supplier relationship management – communications, supplier meetings, rate card negotiations, supporting co-ordination and resolution of resource conflicts, invoice queries, maintenance of internal databases, etc[LR1] .
• Scan the regional marketplace for new fieldwork suppliers / new capabilities.

RFQ Support

• The role is not expected to assume a heavy responsibility for covering RFQ processing but during peak times support may be needed so training will be provided.

Logistics component

• Product Sourcing: Online, wholesale and in-store.  Co-ordinate deliveries to specified locations, or working with suppliers to source product as applicable.
• Check in goods, maintain accurate records, maintain product/shipment quality
• Manage local 3rd parties (couriers)
• Liaison with local & regional authorities regarding permits etc
• Ordering consumables (boxes, tape etc)
• Preparation of products for collection by couriers, packing, labelling etc
• [Selection and supervision of partners to support debranding / relabelling etc]

• Proven experience in fieldwork operations or logistics management, preferably within a market research environment.

About the job

This role involves end to end execution of a primary quantitative research project from designing a questionnaire based on client requirements to delivering insightful reports to the client. While the role is based out of Mumbai, we work with NielsenIQ Singapore team for clients majorly based out of Southeast Asia. Reporting lines will be to a leader based in Singapore. While leaders endeavor to ensure candidates work local hours, candidates need to also be flexible to be able to work Singapore time when needed.

Responsibilities

• Project management – Co-ordinating with Project management team, Data processing team, Data Acquisition team etc. to ensure smooth project flow.
• Design Questionnaire – Understand manager and client’s requirement / research brief and design a questionnaire that is easy to answer, is able to gather the necessary information and has a correct logical flow.
• Checking if the survey link is working fine as per planned logic.
• Monitoring fieldwork progress, adherence to quotas
• Identify inconsistencies in data if any.
• Report preparation – Understand the data, identify key insights, work with manager to prepare a report that has a story like flow.
