• Assume the role of Technical Project Lead for acquisition and/or application within the automotive and adjacent market sectors, specifically for Project Class E, which may function at a Class C support level.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product specifications and all documents related to acquisition and/or application, as well as platform/serial support and innovation.
• Serve as the Business Unit Coordinator/Owner for Technical Customer Documents (TCD), Design for Environment (DfE), Pro Codex, RBGF182, and other related initiatives.

• Develop design solutions within defined concept taking into account material, manufacturing and economic aspects. Optimize designs based on customer's feedback.
• Create and monitor design schedule. Perform design calculations using calculation or FEM simulation method. Examine costs, document designs (bills of materials, technical specifications, design guidelines)
• Develop innovative concepts and ensure feasibility
• Work in a project team, communicate to the stakeholders to explain the design and explore the requirements

Work in Laboratory and testing area in Components and Connector Engineering Department – Bosch Automotive R&D Center Vietnam – HCMC:

- Support Senior Testing Engineer in development project.

- Prepare test samples, carry out validation tests and test result summarize in different development project:

• Prepare test samples and carry out different test (Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability …) under supervising of Test Engineer.
• Understand and operate different testing equipment to support the testing.
• Discuss test method and report test result to different stakeholder (Designer, Test Engineer, Technical Project Leader).
• Communicate with different person about testing request requirement.

- Testing and Laboratory Process Improvement: Work with Senior Testing Engineer to build up the Apps and Web Based for different lab process.

• Read and understand technical legal requirements.
• Summarize technical legal requirements and texts according to defined templates and document them in a database.
• Compare the technical requirements and derive proposals for actions related to products.

The technical legal documents cover, but are not limited to, the following areas: vehicle safety, exhaust treatment, On-Board Diagnostics, cybersecurity, materials, data protection, charging, emissions, fuel consumption, energy consumption, EMC, reliability, radar sensors for autonomous driving or vibration.

• Perform pre-processing analysis for Structural Simulation (FEM).
• Create, update 3D models supporting the simulation purpose.
• Document the simulation results, including presentations, guideline, report.

• Perform design calculations, including tolerance analysis and functional proof. Utilize design tools and methodologies such as FMEA, DRBFM, DMFA, etc.
• Develop design solutions of electrical connectors for automotive and motorbike applications.
• Conduct tests and prepare sample/testing setups.
• Perform technical assessments, problem-solving, customer approval, tool releases.
• Create calculation tool for evaluating mold dimensions/geometry.

• Perform design calculations with given requirements.
• Create, update 3D models and drawings of automotive components, assemblies.
• Document the design, including presentations, bill of materials and reports.

Collaborate with the digitalization team to build up internal web applications, including:

• Understand business processes and user's pain points that lead to the need for an internal web application.
• Develop a business case with estimated benefits, main application features, etc.
• Create user stories and UI/UX in collaboration with the digitalization team and stakeholders.
• Build the web application using the low code platform OutSystem.
• Track & share progress, challenges, proposal of solutions.

1. Analyse legal regulations and standards of countries worldwide, derive technical requirements, including documentation in databases in technical topic areas such as vehicle safety, exhaust treatment, emissions, on-board diagnosis, safety, security, materials, data protection, fuel consumptions/energy consumption, EMC, reliability, vibration or others.

2. Understand automotive and non-automotive products, systems, SW and services in order to identify relevant regulations, to derive requirements and conduct product evaluation. 

3. Understand and apply legal structure know-how of countries in regulation research. Apply understandings of legal and technical content of regulations to document in databases and to derive requirement. 

4. Collarborate with local and international teams to close potential gaps in working processes and methods.

5. Improve efficiency in daily work by applying programming / coding in daily work or improving processes / methods.
