Role Description

·  Comprehensive Game Testing: Thoroughly test games across various genres, platforms, and devices, identifying and documenting bugs, glitches, and gameplay imbalances.

·  Monetization Model Analysis: Critically analyze different monetization models, including free-to-play, premium, and subscription-based, to assess their effectiveness and potential revenue streams.

·  User Journey Evaluation: Conduct in-depth analysis of user journeys, identifying pain points, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance player engagement and retention.

·  Structured Report Creation: Prepare detailed and well-structured reports on game testing outcomes, monetization model analysis, and user journey insights, providing actionable recommendations for game development and optimization.

• Proven experience in game testing, with a strong understanding of various game genres and platforms.
• Familiarity with different monetization models and their implementation in the gaming industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Passion for gaming and a genuine interest in understanding player behaviour and motivations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on various digital platforms.
• Identify, document, and track defects through a comprehensive defect management process.
• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure accurate test coverage and reporting.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Provide regular status updates and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in QA and software testing, with a strong emphasis on automation testing.
• Familiarity with various automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, etc.).
• Detail-oriented with a passion for quality assurance and delivering exceptional digital experiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
