As a Reporting Compliance Specialist, duties will consist of but is not limited to the following:

The incumbent serves as the FTC's Inspector General (IG) and administers and supervises a program of audits, reviews, and investigations designed to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and mismanagement in the programs and operations carried out by the Commission.

As the principal advisor and consultant to the Commission and Chair regarding the IG program, the incumbent designs a strategy that will assist in maintaining an atmosphere within the FTC that promotes the highest standard of integrity and accountability by ensuring a credible and impartial FTC IG system.
