You will be responsible in the fulfillment of IT Governance functions which includes Incident Management, Change Management, Business Continuity Management, IT Risk Management and IT Audit.

Brief Job Description:

• Track and follow through reported production incidents from the identification of root cause and implementation of permanent solutions.
• Prepare IT reports, coordinate regular meetings and follow-up discussions between IT, Stakeholders and Management.
• Review IT processes and procedures, identify gaps and propose solutions.
• Liaise with internal and external parties in doing IT Audits and Due Diligence Assessment of IT services or systems.
• Follow company policies, procedures, regulatory notices and guidelines, and develop enhancements to existing procedures to ensure compliance to changes in these requirements.
• Regularly keep BCP documents updated and complete regular business continuity management activities including DR testing and call tree exercises.
• Document DR testing results, create a report with analysis and lessons learnt to improve business continuity procedures.
• Carry-out IT Risk assessments with system owners and IT heads related to regulatory guidelines on TRM, Cyber Hygiene, BCM, Outsourcing, DLP/ PDPA, Cloud, etc.
• Ensure that identified risks and gaps from the IT Risk assessment are reviewed, addressed and tracked for the completion of the remediation actions.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in information Technology/ Computer Science or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Governance, IT Risk management, IT Audit areas.
• Strong understanding of MAS TRM, BCM, Outsourcing Guidelines, DLP and PDPA.
• Knowledge of Financial Derivatives and Securities is preferred.
• Preferably ITIL certified or equivalent is a plus.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and able to present ideas to all staff levels including Management.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with internal and external parties.
• Meticulous in documentation and follow-through on action items.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to deal with changes.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work adheres to approved method statements and complies with BCA's Good Industry Practice (GIP) guidelines.
• Develop and implement robust QA/QC plans to maintain consistent quality across all phases of the project.
• Monitor subcontractor workers across all trades, promptly identify defects, and ensure proper rectification to meet project standards.
• Effectively communicate non-conformances, corrective actions and preventive measures through the issuance and management of site memos.
• Draw up clear and accurate QA/QC reports and assist in the preparation of QM submissions.
• Arrange and coordinate with BCA for CONQUAS assessments.
• Follow-up and manage all required tests as per contract specifications and Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
• Conduct or participate in inspections at precast and structural steel work facilities (Malaysia and Singapore).
• Facilitate a smooth handover process during inspections and address client defects promptly during the Defect Liability Period.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of experience in construction QA/QC.
• Good knowledge in construction quality control/assurance principles and practices
• Excellent skills in construction management software and QA/QC documentation tools.

About this opportunity

Reporting to the Executive General Manager and responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies and systems, ensuring product and process quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across ~10 manufacturing sites, the Divisional Quality Assurance Manager will also champion the development of a culture that allows the Circular Plastics Australia sites to meet the required food industry standards including EFSA & FDA requirements, and FSSC 22000 certification. 

Your key responsibilities will be to: 

• Define and execute the quality assurance strategy to support the company's objectives and product quality goals.
• Lead the development of quality policies, procedures, and best practices. 
• Oversee the evaluation and laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality standards 
• Coach and support the site Quality Managers to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize processes. 
• Implement and monitor quality metrics and performance indicators. 
• Champion the fostering of a culture of quality and accountability across the Division 
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage audits and inspections.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have: 

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in quality assurance or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a food manufacturing or regulated industry. 
• Knowledge of FSSC 22000 certification requirements & understanding of EFSA & FDA requirements. 
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the organization's products or services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Ø Regulatory Monitoring: Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant. Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with departmental procedures and guidelines as they relate to the Compliance framework

Ø Collaboration: Work with various departments to promote a culture of compliance and to ensure policies are being followed. Provide support to departments about KYC queries and compliance issues for potential investors, subscribers or other parties to the Fund.

Ø Auditing and Monitoring: Perform regular audits and monitoring of operations to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Assist with the management of external review processes such as inspections by the Securities Commission of The Bahamas and SSAE 18 engagement by external auditors.

Ø Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies as required. File annual and periodic reports and other documents required by regulators for funds – Securities Commission, Central Bank, Competent Authority.

Ø Risk Assessment: Identify compliance risks and conduct assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls. Bring unusual and complicated functional issues to the attention of the Executives for discussion and resolution. Document compliance issues raised by departments as well as parties involved, and the process followed to resolve the same.

Ø Policy Development: Identify, develop, implement, update and review of relevant policies and procedures of company and departments to ensure adherence to the best practices and relevant laws, regulations, guidelines and best practices. Document the result of findings and follow up on the implementation of recommendations as necessary.

Ø Training and Education: Assist and conduct training sessions for employees on compliance-related topics and the importance of adherence to policies. Ensure implementation of updated policies and procedures, where applicable. Assist in report preparation and data compilation as required
