As a Store Manager you will report into the Area Manager, and you will be responsible for managing your own store, maximising sales, and performance across all major KPI’s through building a highly engaged and high performing team. Who are we looking for?
• Experienced in working within the retail sector with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on management experience in managing a team of at least 10 people. Ideally, you’ll have experience in a similar, fast-paced environment.
• Flexible. Due to the nature of working within a busy retail environment, we need you to have the ability to work a flexible shift pattern across 7 days a week.

Full time permanent position for a Store Manager based in Boston. This would be working 40 hours per week on a rota basis covering Monday to Saturday. Holiday entitlement 28 days including Bank Holiday, however there is a requirement to work Good Friday.

Duties will include

Manage, motivate, train and develop staff in accordance HR Policies and Procedures and relevant employment legislation. (8 staff)
Manage and implement promotional strategies/activities.
Manage cash and payment systems in accordance with Company procedures.
Plan and implement store merchandising and layout, taking customer traffic flow into consideration, to present the right image and appearance in order to maximise sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Manage Health, Safety, Security and Emergency systems within the store ensuring staff and customer awareness and in accordance with Company policy and relevant legislation.
Continuously develop and maintain product knowledge.

Plan staff rotas and ensure staffing levels are adequate and within budgeted hours.

Previous Management or Supervisory experience within retail is essential for this position. A Procurement & Contract Category Manager is required to work within the Council’s Place and Resources Transformation Unit, providing high quality and cost-effective procurement and contract management support in relation to categories such as facilities management, highways and consultancy. To ensure value for money in procurements by complying with internal Contract Procedure Rules, Financial Regulations, the Procurement Strategy, and other appropriate policies and provide strategic direction and leadership in all matters relating to procurement activity, including assurance and compliance with Public Contract Regulations and any relevant future regulations.

Key responsibilities:

Lead procurement activity for procurements associated with at a minimum facilities management, highways and consultancy activity in North East Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will hold significant experience of delivering procurements which fall under these categories.
Lead on all procurement and contract management matters, including legal and commercial implications of decisions and recommendations.
Provide expert procurement and contract management advice to the service areas.
