My Australia Direct Employer: Ovation Constructions Pty Ltd Location: Ryde, NSW Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 commensurate to experience Position: Full-time Carpenter Ovation Constructions Pty Ltd is on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Carpenter and fit-out specialist to execute high-quality residential and renovation projects. The role will require the suitable candidate to work on our residential construction projects in Sydney. You will be responsible for residential building projects and carpentry work including structural carpentry, framing and detailed fit-out work, formwork, extensions and additions, framing, and new builds. Position description: Study and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specification to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures Lead and execute the installation of various fitout systems including acoustic and fire-rated drywall systems, glass partitioning, suspended ceilings, and bespoke joinery Installation and finishing of intricate architectural details such as moldings, trim, cabinetry, and decorative panelling Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using various tools Cut and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall using hand tools and power tools Erecting framework and roof framing, laying sub-flooring and floorboards and verifying trueness of structures Work with the design and build teams to bring creative and practical solutions to life Manage materials, tools, and onsite logistics efficiently Ensure projects meet our rigorous standards for quality and timeliness Qualifications and Experience Relevant qualifications in carpentry or a related field Construction White Card Minimum of 3 years’ experience in framing, fit-out and finish carpentry, especially in residential sector Proficient in interpreting blueprints and design plans Excellent attention to detail Effective communication skills with various stakeholders About Company Ovation Constructions is a Sydney-based building and construction company specialising in residential projects, from new builds to high-quality renovations.
