The Assistant Manager (Operations) assists the management of cleaning operation duties as directed by the manager. This includes managing resources, work procedures, service contracts and work incidents. We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and creative leader to manage a team of 20 to deliver outstanding experiences for guests at a brasserie-style restaurant operating 5 out of 7 days including weekends. WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:

• Ensure that the location achieves, as a minimum, the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget
• Monitor the work of all the staff and carry out appraisals, recognise training needs and potential as appropriate
• Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required and company and client information
• Work with your Operations Manager to prepare budgets; achieve and maintain the food cost in accordance with the budget
• Develop and evolve all client’s services at location, ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• You thrive on getting the best out of people and maximising commercial opportunities. You draw satisfaction from managing, training and supporting a team
• You demonstrate a genuine passion for food & service, with a strong eye for detail in service standards, innovation and merchandising

• Have experience in an Assistant General Manager or General Manager role in contract catering or hospitality
• Thrive on delivering a great customer experience and leading by example
• Able to demonstrate your analytical approach to problem solving
• Must be able to secure an airside ID (5 years referencing, DBS and GSAT training (provided)
