Job Purpose
To line manage and lead a defined team of cleaners to ensure that the IEG group Stamford College and UCP premises are cleaned to a high standard and ready for business operation. This is a working supervisor role to co-ordinate and carry out tasks such as unlocking the premises and taking off the alarm, ordering stock, stock control, maintenance of equipment, planning of works and work rota and carrying out cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities
• The main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following areas: Assist the Estates Manager with developing a high quality cleaning service for the College and UCP
• Unlock and remove alarm from buildings
• Line manage a team of cleaners to include absence planning, monitoring and reporting, undertaking professional development reviews, delivering training and ensuring compliance
• Plan and rota cleaning tasks
• Monitor and audit cleaning quality and site condition
• Undertake cleaning duties, keep all health and safety inspections and training up to date and ensure compliance
• To respond to unforeseen cleaning requirements in a timely manner appropriate to the job priority
• To assist the Group Director of Estates and Health and Safety and Estates managers in planning and implementing improvement projects, utilising their practical expertise.
• To work core hours but with flexibility to cover events and the needs of the business
• To be fully conversant with the procedures for resetting the fire alarm systems and emergency release system for the disabled persons lift
• To review health and safety implications of work tasks, comply with all relevant health and safety instructions, report issues to the Estates manager and carry out risk assessments as required
• Maintain and report on operational quality standards to the Estates Manager. Monitor standards for cleaning of the building and tidiness of the grounds and where necessary organise remedial action

We are looking to recruit a Consultant Surgeon with an interest in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery to join our forward thinking Department.

The aim of this appointment is to expand the breadth and quality of the General Surgeon Service and the delivery of care across the trust due to increased demand. The postholder will be based in either Scunthorpe or Grimsby General Hospital but will be expected to deliver care across all Trust sites. This post will support the General Surgical Service including on-call commitments for General Surgery.

The successful post holder will have the opportunity to be appointed as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Hull York Medical School (HYMS). This honorary appointment is in recognition of contribution to teaching and research and holders of honorary titles may request access to HYMS and University premises and facilities, systems and library services.

Enthusiastic surgical colleagues are invited to apply for this permanent post which is being advertised with a view to finding the right candidate to fill an existing vacancy and looking to expand the General Surgery Department. This post will be available from August 2024. This is a Consultant General Surgeon post, who has experience in general and laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy skills and an interest in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery . The unit provides elective and emergency general surgery, upper gastrointestinal, general and colorectal surgery, including cancer, and a JAG accredited endoscopy unit.

This post will maintain the efficiency and capacity of the Department, and aid the recovery of waiting times following COVID.

Applications are sought from candidates who will help deliver General Surgery in both emergency and elective settings. The appointee will join the current team of surgeons where there is a tradition of support for consultant colleagues.

The unit currently runs a 1 in 6 or 1:7 consultant of the week duty rota on each of the Trust main sites responsible for emergency admissions.

JOB TITLE: Salaried GP Bromleag Care Practice Rate of pay: £12,000 per session per annum Duties and Responsibilities In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including visiting of homes, telephone & Video consultations, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner. Provide proactive care, supporting and improving the health and wellbeing of the population. Provide accessible care: providing a personalised, responsive, timely, flexible and accessible service. Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation. Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness Provide clinical care using expert knowledge and developed clinical skills in assessing, implementing and monitoring patients to ensure that the quality of patient care is maintained at the highest standard. Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards Undertake clinical letters / summary dictation. Ensure the principles of clinical governance and risk management are applied to clinical practice. Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
• Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.
• Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
• Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
