PRIMARY PURPOSE: To serve as Deputy to the Special Operation Maintenance Group (SOMXG) Commander in a group with more than 1500 funded authorizations. With the commander, the incumbent oversees the complex, numerous, and varied day-to-day aircraft maintenance activities that the SOMXG provides to the installation mission. The incumbent is authorized to make technical and executive decisions for the SOMXG Commander in all areas of functional responsibility; represents the group and the commander at meetings, conferences, official functions, and community events; and, when acting as the senior group official in the absence of the commander, possesses the same authority and prerogatives as the commander, excluding UCMJ authority which is vested in military officers only. The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to serve as the Maintenance Operations Superintendent providing staff support to unit maintenance activities including but not limited to contingency/war/mobility planning; budgeting; maintenance planning and scheduling, productivity data analysis, and training, maintenance operations center, maintenance supply support; manpower; support agreements; and other. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs full-time activities of the Maintenance Operations and advises the Maintenance Group (MXG) Senior ART concerning assigned programs.

Duties:

1. Manages, develops, and directs key programs and activities for Maintenance Operations and the Maintenance Group (MXG).
2. Directs the accomplishment of a variety of special projects/studies for the wing/group.
3. Provides technical and administrative supervision over a work force of civilian and ARTs.
4. Represents Maintenance Operations at conferences, working groups, management reviews as well as with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
5. Plans for and supports preparations to provide aircraft maintenance and logistics personnel, equipment, supplies and expendables to sustain both wartime and peacetime operations.
6. Advises the Maintenance Group senior ART/Commander on maintenance support matters.

What to Expect

• Serves as assistant to a higher-grade maintenance worker/mechanic in maintaining all equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition. Assists in the performance of one or more trade practices associated with occupations such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, and other related trades.
• Assists maintenance workers in performing general maintenance, repair and/or alterations to such items as: doors, floors, floor covering, walls, ceiling, windows, electrical switches, receptacles and light fixtures, commodes, wash basins and showers.
• Assists in performing repair of recreation/mess equipment and appliances and other related maintenance and/or custodial duties.

• Drives motor vehicles that have an approximate gross vehicle weight (GVW) of more than 10,000 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds for delivery of materials, to and from worksites, warehouses, dumps, etc.

US Concerts is seeking a Clerk – Cleaning and Maintenance Services to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

​Responsible for keeping the venue safe and clean at all times, including by not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest facing area free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.

• Ensure the venue is show ready before the fans arrive each night.
• Stocking all necessary items before guests enter the venue.
• Keep the venue safe by cleaning up any spills.
• Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
• Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
• Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
