The Role

About you

Understanding Health & Safety legislation, you’ll have first-hand experience of maintaining automation equipment, ideally Programme Logic Controllers (PLC), along with a flexible approach and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.

You are required to have a full UK driving licence as on occasion you may be asked to travel to other sites.

• Level 3 NVQ in HGV Maintenance or equivalent qualification (Level 2 considered) or substantial time-served experience.

Hours & Pay:

Shift 1: One position available for the early shift: 06:00 - 14:30, Monday to Friday.

Shift 2: Three positions available for the afternoon shift: 13:00 - 21:30, Monday to Friday.

Note: Afternoon shift workers will initially start on an earlier shift for training purposes, with flexible scheduling as needed.

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 40 hours.

The post holder will primarily be based in the outpatient dispensary at St Helier Hospital. You will work closely with the senior technician team, to ensure patients receive their outpatient and discharge medication in a safe, efficient and timely manner.

Applicants must have BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services and must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Having the ACPT would be an advantage but if you do not have that qualification, we will help support you achieve it.

The post includes participation in weekends (7 days), bank holidays and late duty rotas.

- Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience working on a wide range of vehicles, for example LCV / HGV.
- Valid UK driving licence: You hold a full manual UK driving licence,
