Repairs may include, but are not limited to removing damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and reassembling the vehicle parts after painting is complete.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of prior experience as a collision repair technician required; I-CAR & ASE certifications preferred

This Pharmacy Technician Lead role will be 66% in production/workflow.  The other time will be spent training/retraining staff, completing process improvement projects, completing or conducting audits and being the primary point-of-contact for issues within the Pharmacy. Your schedule will be Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM with some flexibility start/stop times.  No weekends or holidays.  Some coverage may require either 7:30AM-8AM or 4:30PM - 5:30PM depending on staffing.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position will coordinate workflow of all team members to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of all functions performed within their respective team of the pharmacy. Act as an educational resource to team members and work in close cooperation with other department leaders. Train and help onboard new staff as needed. Serve as a mentor and coach, identify and share best practices, demonstrate, advocate, and reinforce a positive team environment. Provide support to operations by assessing workflows and making recommendations for improvement. Continuously communicate with all pharmacy and associated departments including third party vendors if needed to optimize patient care and continuous pharmacy operations improvement.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Lead daily operations of pharmacy team and assist in normal daily workflow to ensure operational goals are met.

2. Provide training, support, feedback, and guidance for new all staff and current staff when warranted.

3. Coordinate workload rebalancing and cross-training of pharmacy team across different required functions.

4. Ensure pharmacy team in assigned area is providing patient care that meets and exceeds the standards at Banner Health, contractual, regulatory and corporate compliance.

5. Implement and maintain medication access processes across multiple organizational departments.

6. Comply with all policies/procedures/regulatory requirements and perform other work assignments.

7. Delegate work assignments to pharmacy team and provide support as needed until desired results are achieved. Assist with patient escalations and resolution when needed.

8. Assist with maintaining a clean work environment and any other administrative duties as assigned by pharmacy leadership.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed and registered pharmacy technician in the state of practice, where applicable. Incumbents in Arizona are also required to provide the AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card at time of hire.

Minimum of 5+ yrs of healthcare and/or insurance/third party reimbursement experience required, in which 2+ yrs are as a Pharmacy Technician. Strong customer service focus, superior problem-solving abilities required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, network, web-based and payer applications preferred. Ability to anticipate customer requirements and meet those needs in an appropriate and timely manner is required. Ability to prioritize organization requirements and track progress of multiple initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Leadership experience preferred. Experience in healthcare processes, registration or customer service preferred. Prior experience in retail pharmacy or mail order as a pharmacy technician position preferred. Knowledge of governmental reimbursement rules and regulations preferred. Diagnosis Related Group (DRG) and Fee-For-Service (FFS) reimbursement methodologies preferred. Knowledge of third party payer edits preferred. Knowledge of commercial, Medicare B, Medicare D and Medicaid pharmacy rules and regulations preferred. Bi-lingual preferred.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Functions as part of the dialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and training and in compliance with regulations set forth by the corporation, state, and federal agencies. Responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment. Supports the organization commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI Activities, including those related to patient satisfaction and actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve the organization Quality Enhancement Goals (QEP).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Patient Related

Education:

• Assist other health care members in providing patient specific detailed education regarding adequacy measures where appropriate - Online Clearance Monitoring (OLC), Adequacy Monitoring Program (AMP), Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM), and regarding disease process/access.

Treatment:

• Welcome assigned patients and inquire as to their wellbeing since their last treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access for patency, perform vascular access cannulation, and perform administration of heparin as delegated or as allowed by state Law.
• Obtain necessary pre and post treatment vital signs and weight and perform vascular access evaluation pre- treatment
• Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow (QB) and dialysate flow (QD).         
• Evaluate intradialytic problems and provide intervention as prescribed by physician order or as directed.
• Monitor patients’ response to dialysis therapy. 
• Obtain vital signs prior to reinfusion; perform all relevant functions necessary for the discontinuation of treatment - document.
• Discontinue dialysis treatment according to established procedures and evaluate patient prior to termination of venous access - standing & sitting blood pressure
• Obtain Hemostasis and apply appropriate dressings.   
• Evaluate the patient prior to discharge.
• Perform and record Pre and Post dialysis evaluation, weight, and vital signs with initial identification      
• Responsible for calculating and entry of individual patients’ dialysis machine programming for Ultrafiltration (UF) goal; treatment time; and UF modeling as prescribed.      
• Responsible for ensuring appropriate safety alarms are enabled, including Narrow Venous Limits, (NVL) 160.         
• Record accurate and timely information regarding vital signs and treatment parameters onto the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet with initial identification         
• Responsible for accurate documentation of information related to patient treatment including completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and, if applicable, progress notes.        
• Report any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to the registered nurse or supervisor.    
• Observe patient and conduct machine safety checks according to facility policy. Report any change or unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor.  
• Perform and document any intervention for unusual patient status and document patients' response to intervention.
• Evaluate patients’ vascular access during treatment including arterial and venous monitoring pressures, provide appropriate intervention as needed, document and report any unusual findings to the registered nurse or supervisor.
• Obtain all prescribed laboratory testing and prepare specimens for collection.   
• Ensure that all blood spills are immediately cleaned with appropriate disinfectant according to facility policy.         
• Prepare, organize, and efficiently utilize supplies and equipment to prevent wastage.     
• Monitors patients performing self-care under the supervision of RN

Staff Related

• Assists in training of applicable direct patient care staff on appropriate programs under the supervision of a nurse.
• Collaborates with the Clinical Manager and Education Coordinator in driving organization quality standards through education regarding all ESRD regulatory and legal requirements and the practice of Continuous Quality Improvement. 
• Provides developmental support to applicable clinical and facility staff. 

Education/Communication:

• Participates in implementing  educational programs for PCT staff including contests and other team-based programs.
• Assists in monitoring processes in the delivery of patient care through regular Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
• Follows all organization business policies, procedures and systems incorporated into training, including compliance with ethical business practices

• Maintain environmental integrity and aesthetics - ensure all areas are safe and clean.
• Clean and disinfect dialysis machine surface, chair, equipment, and surrounding area between treatments according to facility policy.
• Conduct all tasks necessary for preparation for dialysis treatment and document where appropriate and perform all required pretreatment dialysis machine alarm testing including Pressure Holding (PHT).
• Initiate Solution Delivery System (SDS) system.

RECORD KEEPING:

• Complete and document ongoing participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
• Enters all treatment data into the designated clinical application in an accurate and timely manner.
• Review treatment sheets for completeness, ensure nursing signatures are documented, and ensure

omitted entries are completed or corrected by appropriate staff.

• Prepare initial patient chart for admission and compile paperwork for appropriate placement in chart.        
• Prepare/print lab requisitions for prescribed or stat Lab specimens according to laboratory destination.      
• Collect, label, appropriately prepare and store lab samples according required laboratory specifications.   
• Ensure collection of lab specimens by appropriate lab courier.   

INFECTION CONTROL:

• Assists in collecting  information for infection control audits.
• Acts as a change agent for infection control practices within clinic. Under the direction of the CM or designee monitors staff and patient adherence to infection control practices.         
• Reinforces new hire employee adherence to infection control Policies and Procedures
• Supports ongoing staff and patient engagement on infection control practices under the direction of CM or designee for example participation in patient lobby days and staff meetings to reinforce infection control practice.
• Participates in and reinforces infection control education of patients and families under the direction of the CM or designee as allowed by state law         

TRANSITIONAL CARE UNIT:

• Follows all newly admitted patients through their first 4 weeks of dialysis and coordinating their transitional dialysis care   
• Reinforces all education and care related matters as it relates to the new patient as allowed by state law
• Liaisons with appropriate FKC staff members to provide the best patient experience including making sure all disciplines are scheduled to see patient according to plan.        
• Assists in assuring patient understanding or home dialysis products, benefits of home and how home dialysis can work for them.      
• Sets and preforms a treatment on all machines used in the transitional care unit.
• Assist in assuring patient understanding of treatment options including demonstration of the peritoneal dialysis set-up.
• Assists with coordination of transition to patient’s modality choice.         
• Assists with supply ordering and inventory for TCU

What You Will Do:
We are currently searching for a Behavioral Neuroscience Technician to provide support for the National Institute on Aging (NIA) Intramural Research Program (IRP) Laboratory of Neuroscience, Neurocognitive Aging Section (NAS). The scope of function will include tasks such as behavioral testing of rats, biological sample acquisition, animal colony management, data analysis and quality control, validation of experimental procedures, and other activities as required. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Baltimore, MD.  

• Perform rat behavioral phenotyping, including, but not limited to, water maze, novel odor recognition, social memory assessment.
• Perform biological sample collection, preparation, and storage.
• Analyze data generated from behavioral phenotyping and maintain databases of rodent colonies, generated data, and bio samples.
• Support design-based quantitative morphometric studies using stereological methods.
• Perform a variety of specialized tissue fixation, embedding, sectioning and staining techniques.
• Maintain animal colonies and perform simple surgeries such as assisting with or performing animal survival surgery (including intraspinal injections), handling, dissecting, or euthanizing the animals.
• Perform analysis of animal tissues; prepare frozen slices and paraffin sections, appropriately stained to demonstrate normal and abnormal structures.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position conducts heavy cleaning and floor care work such as carpet cleaning, stripping/refinishing hard floor surfaces, and special projects. Operates and maintains power cleaning equipment and responds to assigned service requests such as project cleaning, equipment removal, trash or linen removal. Sets an example of excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and clean environment and identifying safety issues related to housekeeping.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Responds promptly to all requests for cleaning services via computerized and paper based tracking systems. Conducts requested work, such as removal, replacement, cleaning of equipment and furniture, or cleaning of an area. 2. Performs specialty cleaning and infection control functions in specialized areas such as clinical areas, surgical suite, Cath lab, specialty rooms, and sterile areas. Conduct specialized gowning and cleaning procedures specific to infectious elements in isolation rooms. Maintains proper Infection Control cleaning standards at all times, including hand hygiene requirements.

3. Maintains cleanliness and operational functioning of department equipment and notifies appropriate personnel of needed repairs. Protects equipment from damage by proper use and properly logs out and in equipment that is used.

4. Assesses environmental conditions to ensure that the facility is neat, clean, safe and orderly. Anticipates and resolves clutter and safety issues. Exercises judgment in deciding which problems need to be quickly referred to a Supervisor for assistance. Maintains communication with immediate supervisor and/or facilities services staff, about status of repair completion in the facility; follows up as assigned.

5. Provides leadership for less experienced associates. May assist with on-the-job training for other staff in cleaning techniques, chemical usage, supply restocking, and infection control procedures including hand hygiene. Focuses on and serves as a role model of responsive customer service.

6. Performs scheduled floor care procedures including dust mopping, mopping, stripping and refinishing, burnishing, and carpet extraction. Calculates quantities and mix ratio of cleaning chemicals.

7. Works under regular supervision within assigned facility. Internal customers include staff, physicians, nurses, patients, visitors, supervisors, managers, and executives. External customers include visitors, patients, and employees from other facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires the skills, knowledge and abilities normally acquired over one to two years of diversified environmental service work experience in a health care or institutional setting. Must have a working knowledge of how to operate typical industrial cleaning equipment and the use of cleaning techniques appropriate to the healthcare environment. Must have basic math skills. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing to provide instructions and information to others. Support aerial autonomy research as a pilot and technician, including small quadrotor and fixed wing systems. The National Security Sector in Leidos is seeking an IBD-SS Field Service Technician to support engineering and technical services of Force Protection Systems (FPS) Family of Systems (FOS) to the IBD-SS program with operations located in SWA. As an IBD-SS Field Service
Technician/Engineer one will perform maintenance, training, and work closely with military customers. Successful
candidates will support our customer in creating capabilities and providing technical services, subject matter expertise,
and software solutions and services for platforms such as the Integrated Base Defense (IBD) Kitting.

This position desires an individual who has experience performing mechanical, electronics, and IT Networking tasks as
well as skills performing installs, de-installs, testing systems and components, and performing preventive maintenance
actions on a variety of systems belonging to the Elevated Sensors family of systems to include ECP, BETSS-C, Cerberus,
RDISS, Radar, PTP radio, television, IBD_K and other communications & surveillance equipment components.

A strong background in IT networks and Network Security is also desired. CONUS training in various locations will be
required prior to deployment.

THE CHALLENGE:

• Must be capable of performing analyses of system operations specific to experience with IBD-K
• Creating capabilities and providing technical services, subject matter expertise, and software solutions and
services for platforms such as the Integrated Base Defense (IBD) Kitting.
• Must have knowledge of and experience in the operations of hardware systems and components
• Must have experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems and individual
components
• Must be capable of routine system maintenance and analysis functions including hardware configurations;
adding, removing, and replacing hardware components; use of hardware and software diagnostic testing tools;
reading of electronic circuit schematics; and repairing printed circuit boards
• Performs sustainment and PMCS maintenance on the towers and payloads
• Performs site surveys to determine type and placement of systems
• Installs and de-installs systems and their components and trains operators and end users
• Updates databases, informs Lead of job status and any issues encountered
• Tracks and updates work orders to include the replacement of parts component serial numbers removed and
replaced
• May travel via military/commercial conveyances to outlying areas
• Skilled using hand tools, power tools, and electronics measuring and test equipment
• Ability to perform minor maintenance on generators such as changing oil and filter
• Must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports
• Interact and professionally exhibit customer service skills and be able to present a positive approach with
customers and peers
• Must be able to withstand physical demands of seasonal hot or cold temperatures and willing to live and
operate in an austere environment
• Must be willing to support up to an 84-hour Extended Work Week
• Possesses a US passport that will not expire for at least 2 or more years and must have at least 4 consecutive
blank pages for country visas
• Must be capable of meeting standards of fitness for deployment to the SWA of Operations
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Must have relevant certifications if applicable to contract requirements
• Other Duties as assigned

WHAT SETS YOU APART

YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE

Relevant and recent experience supporting Force Protection systems is highly desirable
• Experience with RAID sensor systems to include Aerostats
• Experience with BETSS-C suite of systems to include FPS, RDISS, and Cerberus
• Experience with FLIR Star Safire sensors
• Experience utilizing COLTS (or similar such as RCLS) and operating within the GCSS-A environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Import/Export (ITAR/EXIM) compliance experience
