We are currently recruiting for an NDT On-Site Technician to join the team to determine and provide solutions to meet our contractual arrangements to deliver on-site non-destructive testing (NDT) and technical reporting in accordance with applicable requirements and standards.

Key Accountabilities


- Actively support the Technical Manager NDT Methods plan and prepare documentation, personnel, and equipment to achieve contract delivery.
- SRTS customer liaison for on-site activities.
- Must have PCN qualifications in Ultrasonic Axle Testing preferably level 2, other PCN qualifications such as Eddy Current, MPI or DPI would be an advantage
- Responsible person for on-site problem solving and decision making to achieve customer delivery.
- Provide remote support to the NDT Field Engineering team/customers as required.

IT Systems Support Technician

Location: Alfreton

Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours, please note there will be travelling to other sites with possible stayovers (all expenses paid)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a System Technician based in Alfreton . The System Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, technical support, maintenance and repair of systems, perform preventive maintenance, and provide training on system usage.

Key areas of Focus Clinical - Undertake patient facing and patient supporting roles to ensure effective medicines use, through shared decision-making conversations with patients. - Carry out medicines optimisation tasks including effective medicine administration (e.g. checking inhaler technique), supporting medication reviews and medicines reconciliation. Where required, utilise consultation skills to work in partnership with patients to ensure they use their medicines effectively. - As determined by the PCN, support medication reviews and medicines reconciliation for new care home patients and synchronising medicines for patient transfers between care settings, linking with local community pharmacies - Support the clinical pharmacist to deliver structured medication reviews (SMRs) i.e. organise necessary monitoring tests prior to SMR - Provide expertise to address both the public health and social care needs of patients, including lifestyle advice, service information, and help in tackling local health inequalities. - Manage shared care protocols and liaise with clinical pharmacists for more complex patients. - Support initiatives for antimicrobial stewardship to reduce inappropriate antibiotic prescribing locally. Technical - Support the PCN multi-disciplinary team to ensure efficient medicines optimisation processes are being followed. - Implement efficient ordering processes and reduce medication wastage. - Provide training and support on the legal, safe and secure handling of medicines, including the implementation of the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). - Promotion of Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRD) and online ordering - Develop relationships with other pharmacy professionals and members of the multidisciplinary team to support integration across health and social care including primary care, community pharmacy, secondary care and mental health. - Support practice reception teams in streaming general prescription requests, so as to allow GPs and clinical pharmacists to review the more clinically complex requests. - Support the implementation of national prescribing policies and guidance within GP practices, care homes and other primary care settings. - Support the PCN to deliver on QIPP agenda, QOF and locally commissioned enhanced services - Support the PCN in reviewing and developing practice policies for CQC requirements General The postholder will: Develop a culture that promotes equality and values diversity. Vehicle / Service Technician role:

• To observe, recognise and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
• To examine vehicles completely and report orally or in writing upon the vehicles condition, safety and reliability and performance (MOT).
• To protect all vehicles under repair against damage and to inspect each vehicle for damage and cleanliness upon completion of repair.
• To attend recognised courses of instruction as and when required and to assist in the training of apprentices upon assignment.
• To always seek permission before fitting parts to customers vehicles that have not been previously authorised and to return parts for warranty and customer inspection at all times.
• To ensure all service and maintenance sheets, customer defect reports, manufacturer paperwork and electronic documentation, e.g. PDI sheets are fully completed and signed off.

Requirements Vehicle / Service Technician:

• A Minimum Level 2 City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Repair.
• Experience in diagnostics and using computers.
• A full, UK driving licence.
• A positive, right first time attitude.

• The ability to work to a very high standard.
