Visa is a leading digital payment provider in Japan and drives payment innovations to empower consumers and merchants to pay and be paid more safely, conveniently and seamlessly. The Manager will be a member of Japan Consumer Solutions team that owns product and solutions for consumers in the market, and will play a PMO role for a strategic cross-functional project. What a Manager, Strategic Project PMO, does at Visa

Visa is looking for a dedicated Strategic Project PMO to join the Product & Solutions team in Tokyo, and be responsible for managing and driving the day-to-day activities of all of the initiatives in the project, partnering clients and merchants, and ensuring every initiative is successfully completed on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities of the role include

• Support PMO lead to oversee the full project management life cycle for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, and develop and maintain a comprehensive project management framework and governance tools specific to the project
• Manage and drive the development and implementation of every Product related initiative in partnership with the assigned subject matter experts and other team members
• Work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to increase campaign participation of issuers

The Japan Merchant Sales & Acquiring team is responsible for the short- and long-term growth of merchant acceptance for Visa’s existing and new Digital products and services. What a Business Development Leader in Merchant Sales & Acquiring team does at Visa

As a Director, you will lead the sales and account management and be commercially responsible for a diverse portfolio of Japanese clients and prospects, with a focus on online retailers and eCommerce solution providers. You will build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the client’s organization and leverage your expertise and insights to provide them with strategic guidance and support. Working in a high performing team, you will identify new opportunities to help expand our joint business across core consumer payments, value added services and new flows. You will also work closely with various internal and external stakeholders from a range of functions including product, sales marketing, and operations, to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of the client and their customers. We are looking for a motivated Business Development professional to join our Japan Sales organisation, reporting to the Head of Sales. From point of sale to eCommerce, there are Square solutions for almost anything. Our eCommerce tools can help merchants sell online and offer curbside pickup or delivery. We help merchants accept all types of payments everywhere they sell - from processing credit and debit cards on their phones, to building custom solutions on our payment platform. Our Point of Sale app helps merchants sell smarter with real-time sales data and intuitive inventory tools, and the ability to customise the app as their businesses grow. Whether merchants want a website, to integrate payments on their existing site, or to work with top eCommerce platforms, Square makes it simple to sell online. As Business Development Representative you will identify prospective Square sellers and promote the value of Square in helping them grow their business. You will work with the Japan Sales team to find new large value merchants fitting the Square ecosystem, and with global Square team-mates on wider projects. Often the first line of contact with prospective Japan Square merchants, you will understand and empathise with their diverse needs and focus on how Square could best support them. • Create a great first impression for prospective Square merchants by using storytelling, case studies and other materials to inspire them about how Square could benefit their businesses
• Research and prospect merchants across Japan that may be a good fit for Square, and understand how to handle objections you may encounter
• Use multi-channel outreach methods (social media, outreach emails, phone calls) to qualify leads and schedule meetings between merchants and members of our Account Executive team
• Represent Square and our product ecosystem in the Japan market
• Keep up-to-date with the latest business, industry and product trends
• Partner with the Australian Account Executive team to gain exposure to the sales cycle and further develop your sales experience, and learn and maintain current understanding of Australian and global Square sales processes
• Attain (and ideally exceed) your business development goals
• Maintain accurate sales data and documentation by using tools including Salesforce

Project Management, to include:

• Proving advice at a strategic level from the project conception stage, and on different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives
• Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
• Planning for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
• Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
• Project planning, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
• Advising upon the procurement of resources
• Leading and facilitating the overall cross－functional project team
• Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance
• Managing the change control process
• Monitoring and advising upon project finances
• Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
• Ensuring the production of formal project progress and other reports
• Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages

Marketing and business development, to include:

• Taking responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new our clients
• Identifying and acting upon cross－selling opportunities
• Working with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work
• Attending marketing events and Client interviews
• Ensuring that project case study, photograph and project CV files are kept up to date
• Identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve project management procedures, templates and products and hence improve the service provided to clients
• Identifying and acting upon cross－divisional opportunities

Position Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Representative(ACS BDR) to join our Construction Solutions team in Japan.

You will work in a hybrid position reporting directly to the Director of Construction Sales, Japan. You will prospect into targeted accounts to increase the productivity of Autodesk's sales teams by identifying revenue opportunities with well-qualified prospects. You will not close the sale. You will interact with clients of all levels, in several industries and across a broad geographical area.

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with our Demand Generation Marketing and Account Executives to build a qualified pipeline of customers

• You will prospect our customers by applying outbound medium technologies to promote Autodesk Construction Solutions

• Identify target markets, develop customer journey campaigns to Autodesk Construction Cloud(ACC), cultivate leads, and directly prospect into those accounts

• Transition qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales representative

• Map main members, technical requirements, and business processes on all deals

• Create additional revenue opportunities by applying incremental programs initiated by the global team

• Manage a database of leads in Salesforce.com, processing all opportunities, tracking, reporting, and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline

• Proficient in identifying main decision makers in other organizations within the accounts to find additional sales opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

• Inside Sales experience, especially lead nurturing activities, is mandatory

• Software and SaaS Sales experience

• Experience designing the "Customer Journey" processes and run them

• Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities

• Experience contributing in a collaborative work environment and team selling experience

• Fluent in Japanese and business-level English

Preferred Qualifications

• AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry experience or knowledge

• Marketing knowledge (Marketing Automation, ABM)

• Strive to improve your sales skills through on-the-job coaching, self-learning, and as defined by Autodesk sales career progression framework
