As System Administrator performs routine maintenance, backups and security updates to 319 FSS workstations, servers and application software for minimum down time of operations. Acts as liaison between network contractors, 319th Communications Squadron and commercial vendors to properly convey mission requirements for 319th FSS. Submits, receives and responds to trouble tickets from all users within 319th FSS for software and hardware issues. Develops training documentation for users to provide adequate levels of understating of productivity software, presentation software, graphics design, communication tools, database management and accounting software. Provides support for all 319th FSS catered events during on and off duty hours. Tests and directs the implementation of computer software plans; guides management in cost analysis of purchasing both hardware and software and provides recommendations on computer purchases ensuring equipment is compatible to 319th FSS software applications. Performs hardware maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed and conducts replacement as required. This Heavy Mobile Equipment Repairer position is in the Facilities Management Division, at the Clement J. Zablocki Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI. The work extends beyond operator maintenance, and involves making repairs to Heavy Mobile Equipment by removing, adjusting, or replacing defective/worn parts and components. This includes, but is not limited to: automatic and non-automatic transmissions, drive lines, hydraulic utility systems, braking systems, and starting switches. The level of work performed may also include the repair or replacement of parts such as brakes, tires, suspension components and tune-up parts.

Major Duties:

• Performs mechanical repair work in connection with the rebuild and overhaul of various fuel and electrical assemblies/subassemblies for combustion powered heavy duty vehicles and heavy mobile equipment.
• Overhauls and repairs work on other medium weight gasoline and or diesel powered vehicles and equipment.
• Ensures that hazardous materials/waste within work area are handled/processed within operating guidelines.

Responsible for sentence computations, inmate records, designations, administrative remedies and correspondence for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Responsible for Judgement and Commitment (J&C) files, sentence computations, complex release audits of computations, complex computation case audits, security and control of records, and initial inmate classifications for designations.

Collects all necessary information from the U.S. District Court, U.S. Marshal Service and U.S. Probation Office needed or other authorities needed to request and provide designation and compute the inmate’s sentences.

Serves as a subject matter expert in the area of inmate release audits, sentence computations, and inmate classification, provides guidance and assistance to technicians and administrative support staff in the DSCC.
