We are working with a prestigious firm who are on the lookout for a skilled lawyer to join their General Liability Insurance team based in Bristol. This is an incredible opportunity for a qualified Legal Executive or Solicitor (NQ+). The team spans across London and Bristol and is part of the firm's Insurance Group and has a well-established client base, acting for a number of market leading liability insurers in the provision of their employers, public and products liability services to insured businesses.

Your new role
The role will predominantly be dealing with personal injury claims, with the opportunity to become involved in associated regulatory matters such as health and safety investigations/prosecutions and inquests. There is also the opportunity to deal with the regulation of products. The work will be very varied, interesting and challenging and where you show you can run the cases successfully, you will be given autonomy to make your own mark on the files. You will also have the opportunity to get involved with business development and client initiatives, where appropriate.

You will manage and assist with the management of fast track, intermediate and multi-track personal injury claims and advise on all legal aspects relating to claims including coverage.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a Legal Executive or Solicitor (NQ+), with experience of handling personal injury claims and fast-track litigation.Experience, or an interest in gaining experience in, Product Law and Health & Safety.
A good knowledge of legal procedures.
Able to deliver legal and commercial solutions and establishes collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues to provide an outstanding client experience.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.

Our client, a collaborative and nurturing international firm, is looking for a Claims Handler to join their Professional Indemnity team in Bristol, who act on numerous high value and sensitive claims for clients throughout the UK including solicitors, surveyors, accountants, brokers, engineers, architects and their insurers. This role is based in our client's Bristol office (minimum of 2 days per week in the office) however you will be able to work remotely from home for part of the week if desired as the firm operate a hybrid working policy.

Your new role
You will be working as part of an already established but growing claims handling team that handles professional indemnity claims made against professionals on an outsourced basis. Working with the Head of Claims and other team members, you will be responsible for a technical and efficient delivery of service. You can expect to run a caseload where you will review and investigate cover, assist insured professionals, respond to claims and report to Insurers where necessary, including identifying, investigating, and reporting potential issues.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have prior Claims Handling and/or litigation experience; experience of Insurance is preferable but not essential. Our client is happy to consider candidates either with a Law degree, those working towards ACII, CILEx or equivalent legal qualification, or alternatively you might have significant experience in claims, with technical knowledge and experience.

An understanding of how to provide excellent customer service is essential and you will be hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated, with competent skills in Microsoft Office. Previous experience of using a case management system is desirable.
